Albert Pujols to Padres? Why He’d Instantly Command Respect in San Diego
I’m not here to talk about the Angels. I’m here to talk about that this is a step closer into my dream becoming a reality, which is Albert Puhol becoming the manager. And listen, and everybody relax. Do I think Albert Ples is going to be like the next freaking whoever? Like, no. I don’t know. But I just think I want it. Okay, that’s it. What What do you think? What do you think Albert Puho says to the the Padres’s brass in a meeting on why he should be the next manager for the Padres’s? Like what what can he tell them he can fix? What? Well, how about how to hit? What? How? There’s a good start. Coaches. He’s one of the best hitters in in in the history of the game. Absolutely. Think I’d rather think honestly Browner I don’t care. Likeant no but I’m saying like dude like how do we know man? You know what I mean? If you don’t listen to Albert PS you got bigger problems man. And if we’re going to work under that assumption like so, okay, no disrespect, zero whatsoever. They bring in Nick Hunley. Are we going to listen to him? If that’s the rationale we’re working with, no. Come in. These guys are professional. Let me throw another name. If if they brought in Bruce Bochi, you think these guys are going to listen to him? That’s a good question. I mean, my answer is no. Yeah. I just think that there’s a lot there there’s a lot to be gained from having someone like him as your manager. And as we saw for the last x amount of months, we were all bitching and moaning about Mike Schil’s lineups and his and his bullpen uh decision. So, it’s like it doesn’t matter who they hire, we will complain about it.
Albert Pujols would command respect in a clubhouse full of big contracts. His resume is more impressive than anyone else in the Padres organization. Would he make a great manager? Maybe. But fans would probably find something to complain about just like they did with Mike Shildt.

Bochy is never coming back to SD. They did him dirty. Flannery too. I was so happy for them winning in SF, even though I am a die hard Padres fan. Bring in Pujols. Give the latitude to bring in who he wants and let it ride.
Why not ? It couldn't hurt
Suzuki it's going to manage the Angels. What a shitshow in Anaheim! He's never even coached, according to the reports I've heard.
Padres are all about the name. The flashy shiny objects with very little substance. This is why there continues to be turbulence and chaos around this franchise. From the front office to the clubhouse it’s a toxic waste land.
Albert is no experience managing & the divas of players the padres have
Delusional haha haha haha
It's worth a shot! Give him 1 year contract!👍💪
Really??? Pujols? It’s a name with no managerial experience at the highest level, no thanks, I don’t want another experiment as our core players are getting older by the minute
Of our guys don’t want to listen to the manager, we need new guys
Would be a good hire I think Tatis and machado would fall in line
But why wouldn’t they listen to Bochy
Cmon at least say one reason why brother
I wish Aaron Boone was available. It would be great to have a native of San Diego to manage the team. I knew his grandfather Ray. Great family with baseball history in our town.
Should have Dave Roberts…wait they had him and thought he wasnt the guy after Bouchy..idiot Padres..he manages superstars and ego..Puljos..LOL no experience…just hire Puljos as hitting coach if you want him so bad
Remember the last recently retired player gone manager that we let get away , oh that’s right his name was Dave Robert’s lol 😅, let’s give Albert a try …
