Classic Kyle jumping on the wagon. This team won ten games with a rookie HC last year and you’d go weeks on GMFB without seeing more than a quick blurb about them. Even then it seemed like a chore for them to talk about the Hawks.
Let them sleep on us
Why can’t AI be useful and provide a short summary of whatever this guy is blathering about so I don’t have to waste time watching
I really really don’t like this fucking clown!!
If I was to rant about how little exposure this team gets no matter how good they are this is exactly how I’d say it word for word lol
sleepy pacific northwest? I’m offended. Seattle sports both men and women have been relevant for so long in terms of winning things. Our fans here in seattle are die hards and have electric support. It’s funny how the guy who is in charge of talking about us, is talking about how nobody talks about us. He’s the problem lmao

South Alaska represent!!!
That was great, pretty much sums up how I feel
Even the segments on TV that covered this game just talked about CJ Stroud struggles.
This is Seattle sports in a nutshell, Sounders, Mariners and ‘Hawks never get the accolades they deserve.
Let’s be real here, there are probably people in this sub who STILL think they’re are only gonna win 8 or 9 games, so this shouldn’t surprise anyone.
THANK YOU FOR CONFIRMING MY VICTIM COMPLEX

We are the Salacious B. Crumb of the NFL. Only the diehard fans know about us. And that’s ok bc we are a cult classic team.
Dude is kind of annoying.
Played really well? That was the ugliest win I’ve ever seen
I’ve been a fan since the early 1980’s, and it has ALWAYS been like this with the Hawks.
Before, it was because we were usually laughably bad, but it didn’t change much even after we won a superbowl. The reasons have already been stated by others endlessly, and that’s just how it is with national media.
I’m hopeful we can show up in the playoffs and give them all some hefty shit burgers to eat.
My little brother watches football knows I’m a huge Seahawk fan and came by last night and don’t know Pete Carrol was gone, didn’t know who our quarterback was lol
East coast bias. We’ve known this
The only thing SEA stands for in national media is South East Alaska.
We never will get the spotlight. We aren’t what they call a “Big Market” team. Its always been like this, even when we went to the super bowl, the LOB and Lynch were “thugs” to the media because of the trash talk on and off the field. They thought Peyton Mannings record breaking offense was going to give them the biggest blow out in superbbowl history. We will always be the under dog.
Talk about it.
They had brief flashes of playing well but I wouldn’t call 4 turnovers and 12 penalties a well played, disciplined football game.
I used to care about this — but that’s when I didn’t live in Seattle and streaming radio didn’t exist. I just wanted national coverage of my team.
Now? Don’t care. I have all the local coverage I could want, and all the games are televised locally. Has no effect on the Seahawks or their performance, and probably helps them to be under the radar.
He also read a letter from a Seahawks fan, Cassie (I think), who was complaining the show never covers the Seahawks, even when they have a great game.
Then Jamie asked each cast member to “show the Seahawks some love”.
They also mentioned John Schneider was a guest on their show and complained about the same thing lol.
And Jamie followed that with mispronouncing his name “we love you, John Snider”. It was pretty comical.
To Kyle’s point, I do believe most people outside of our division don’t know who our coach is. Even football “analysts” frequently call him Mike McDaniel…
Wow thank you
Man there is a lot of “Tell me I’m pretty!” in this thread. Who gives a shit what anyone says!
If you’re answering “me!” sincerely to that question, I’d recommend changing your media diet to more thoughtful and plugged-in analysts. IMO, NFL Live is the only show on a broadcast channel with thoughtful analysis about the NFL. But you can also watch or listen to various podcasts (Robert Mays, Nate Tice, Mina Kimes, etc.) that all give the Seahawks their due.
I actually like when they sleep on us, I enjoy that hate and when we win it makes it feel so much better
I like it when no one talks about us. Keeps us as underdogs and makes it feel like there is something extra we’re fighting for every week.
Why are they saying we played really good in this game…? Ill be it our DEFENSE had a good game sure but man what a horrible offensive display. More dumbass trick plays, Darnold interception, fumbles, safeties (almost 2 of them). Surprised anyone is singing our praises after that game. We got the win but we need to clean up our offensive play calling asap.
Dude nailed it with the stroud comments! Like why the hell does espn send out a memo every year to avoid Seattle sports discussion at all costs?
I love that everyone underestimates or ignores the Seahawks. I’d rather fly under the radar all the way to the Championship.
Been watching the Seahawks for like 15 years it’s always been this way even in the LOB days
The legion of boom may be gone, but the legion of DOOM for opposing offenses has been assembled and are well on their way to the legion of fame.
“They run the crap out of the ball” is the one thing that’s hard to agree with, but everything else I can get behind
This is exactly why Richard Sherman deserves more respect in Seattle. The national media had no choice but to talk about us after that 2012 game against the Patriots while everyone either loved us or hated us for the next few years. Now we’re back to being boring old Seattle
