[Meghann Cuniff] Mike Trout testifying on “horseplay” in clubhouse

  1. Not sure how this is relevant to Eric Kay abusing or selling drugs.

Many teams have rookie hazing rituals.

  2. Not that any of this is OK, but I honestly feel like most if not all teams have something like this.

  3. Guys, we are the dumbest team in MLB historyĀ

Trout and Ohtani and our guys are preoccupied with hazingĀ

  4. Ummmm….. yeah. This happens in every locker room. What does this have to do with the trial?

  5. Let’s see. You have 18 year olds, 20-somethings and a few 30 year olds, all with a butt-ton of disposable income and we’re to be shocked over the shenanigans in the locker room? Imagine having that money, being away from home on a 10-day road trip and not doing stupid kid stuff.

  6. My only assumption is that the point of this is to work towards getting to whether or not open drug use was part of the locker room. We know guys beyond Skaggs were using.

  7. I mean it’s bad. I guess it’s not Shaq level of legitimate biohazard stuff

  8. Rich, young guys act like young guys in a locker room??

  9. I honestly don’t have much of a problem with this… I’ve heard / seen much worse go down on my college sports team or others I’ve heard at frats. As long as no one was forced to do anything, which I doubt they were, who cares. What does this have to do with drug abuse?

  10. Anyone that’s played a sport and shared a locker room with teammates knows this is pretty par for the course. I remember daring teammates to eat a grasshopper

  11. Mike Tomlin once said (and I’m paraphrasing) ā€œI could tell you how the hot dog is made, but you wouldn’t like the ingredientsā€. Exposing locker room culture in a professional locker room, man in really didn’t want to know the ingredients

  12. I knew some pegging was going on in their locker room because it would explain the constant injuries.

  13. I’ve always loved Trout for his baseball mind. I’ve never thought to myself “Wow, what a philosophically deep and intelligent individual like the rest of the best baseball players whose game I admire who are also clearly deeply empathetic, intelligent individuals.” He seems a kind enough person, but looks like a rock.
