Minnesota Wild 25th Anniversary Jersey Unboxing & Review!

Hey guys, what’s up? Brett here from Silky Sweater. We’ve got our second unbagging of the 2025 2026 NHL season. I got a few more coming down the pipe, too. So, hold on to your hats. More to come for the channel in terms of unboxings, but got the next one right here. We are not going to waste any time with the jersey on my person and behind me. Might give you a hint of what we’re unbagging today. Let’s dive in. Poly bag. Nice. And no grease, even though it was folded a little bit. A little worried about that, but looks good. Of course, we have the 25th anniversary Minnesota Wild jersey. Try and get in here quick. Oh yeah. Here we go. So, like my red red wings jersey that we unbagged a handful of videos ago. No anniversary patch coming from our friends fanatics and NHL shop. So, that’s it is what it is. You know, I did I said I didn’t care on the Red Wings jersey, but the more of these jerseys that I’m going to be ordering, nudge nudge, wink wink, it might start bugging me a little bit. But anyways, still looks good. We’ve got the inaugural patch from the Minnesota Wild here. We’ll get a closeup in the side screen here as well. Lighting’s not super great, but I love this patch. Love the word mark. It looks awesome. We’ve got the logo itself with all the details it has on the traditional jersey. Just looking at the back here, the screen color looks to be the same as this one here. Yeah, basically identical in terms of logo, which is fine. What really sold me on this one was the original number kit. Right. So, this one’s a Capri off in terms of what was available on NHL shop via stitching, not heat seal or heat press. Uh soft was the only option, at least from the Canadian side of things, unless I was trying to go through Minnesota’s team store direct. Uh which obviously I didn’t do. So, I have another Capri off. There we go. two larkens, two Capri softs. But here it is. Look how sharp that number kit looks with the notches. Oh, that’s so good. Uh, incredibly shiny gold here in the numbers. Um, same gold is replicated here in that patch. And then of course around the side, similar to like Vegas, uh specifically Vegas and their their Golden Knights, you know, Golden jersey. Uh the LA Kings have of course done something similar in silver, but you get the the shimmer all the way down the sleeves here. I like the sleeve look too that it kind of comes down all the way down. The Jets did something similar with their well, their initial jerseys back in the day had the blue stripe all the way down, right? And then their reverse retro did something similar. I I like that look on a jersey down the arms. This uh threeoft looks huge. We’re going to have to compare that side by side on the jersey I’ve got cuz this looks bigger. Maybe it’s my eyes playing tricks on me, but we’ll we’ll look at that in a second here. But again, the the number kit really sold it for me. You’ve got established year 2000 in the collar. Of course, this is a premium fanatic size 50. And then you’ve got the Northstar here on the bottom. Nothing inside the hem, just the blank, but that’s that’s okay. This jersey looks great. Folks will get to see it live in action for the first time October 28th uh against said Winnipeg Jets, actually. So, I’ll probably turn on my TV and tune in for that one just to see how it looks on actual ice during gameplay, but we’ll we’ll add this guy to the collection. Looks great.
