“5 TUDDIES!” Sean McVay’s Victory Speech After Week 7 Win Over Jaguars In London

I am so proud of this football team and what you guys did and how that week of work translated. You don’t just show up and do those things. That was a translation of everything you guys did throughout the course of the week, man. All right. You had the urgency. You had the enjoyment. What a great job. Complete game. And there’s always going to be some things that we can really be able to learn from. But I love the way that we played off one another. I love the way that the offense started out the game. The defense just kept holding serve. All right. Being able to get those stops, that was a complete performance that we were looking for. You guys will be off for this next week, man. But we said, “Hey, only thing we do is go up from here.” Everybody be smart over this break. We’ll come back on that bonus Monday. Be ready to roll. I got two game balls. All right. I want to be able to recognize two guys right here. Not one, not two, but three Tutties. Where’s the [Applause] Hey, you got three and two more. Five ties. Grateful for this guy. Lead the way, Matthew. Nice job, man. Let’s get the out of here, huh? Let’s go home, Reggie. Shoot us some teamwork. Sleep on this plane or not. All right, let’s go. That’s a resilient group. Good on three. 1 2 3 games.

  1. Solid win by the final score!
but a lot of the same issues to clean up especially against better teams:
    1. Special teams allowed a TD (that we got lucky a weak flag removed)
    2. We can’t run which is a huge problem. Both OL and RB struggling here
    3. McVay needs to take Stafford out and not get him clobbered late in the game. Just hand it off. He’s taken tons of hits and almost didn’t start the year. If he gets injured our season is done. Inside the 5 we don’t need to be so pass happy. Probably reflects lack of confidence in the run game

Stafford carries and elevates the offense. Front 7/defense were huge also. go Rams!

  2. I'd also give one game ball to the entire defense of the Rams. I hope this is the turning point for the Rams offense in the red zone and catching up with their defense in dominating their opponents. Love my Rams!

  3. Great game, I only watched the 4th quarter, didn’t wake up until 9, but the Rams appeared to play a complete game, offense, defense and special teams 😎

  4. Those bad fans calling for McVay to retire, stfu or go be fans somewhere else. He has proven again and again why he is #2 HC in NFL. What a showing today after that gruesome travel. Now we are going to be better after the BYE.

  5. Mcvay did something very subtle and most people missed it.
With 3rd and 5 Mcvay chose to run the ball with Kyren Williams in the 4th quarter.
Imagine the confidence that gave Williams. Great move Coach because we’re going to need him.

  6. Defense played lights out. Getting stop after stop and 6 sacks. Great team win. I will say however, we got lucky with that block in tbe back call on the PR. It was ticky tack and it would have changed the entire game. Chase Blackburn needs to go. We're giving up 30 yard KRs every time and should have been a PR TD. Special teams has been atrocious
