  1. I would love both him and Murakami because i’m a massive Murakami fan but I’m not sure how Murakami will transfer over to the MLB. Okamoto is the player the Yanks should be all in on. Dude is a great bat with above average defense at both first and third base. Hopefully his teammate and former Yankee Masahiro Tanaka can convince him to sign with the Yanks.

  2. Right handed, doesn’t strike out, plays a good 1B, can play some 3B and corner OF. He’d be a good rotational player against LHP.

  3. Could we can the theatrics of visiting other teams this offseason? We all know where he’s going.

  4. Good platoon option with McMahon and Jasson but I don’t see him going somewhere just to platoon. He’s 29 in middle of his prime. He’s going to want to play everyday

  5. Don’t do that, don’t give me hope. This time next year will be talking about his great first year with the Dodgers.

  6. The Japanese ain’t coming to the Yankees, they’re either going to the dodgers or cubs

  7. He’s a great fit for the Yankees, but I think he’s going to want to go somewhere he can play everyday.

  8. As great as it would be to have both Murakami and Okamoto be Yankees, how long before we see the press conference of both Okamoto and Murakami putting on a Dodgers uniform?
