Lakers vs Warriors | Lakers Highlights | October 21, 2025

Vincent and eight in the five on the floor for LA. Donic stop and start move. Got fouled. He’ll get two times throughout his career. Staying on the court. Curry all the way. Could not hang it through. Winning a championship at Florida, but the effort and energy on both ends on display. Marcus Smart sometimes. Just pass the midway point of the second and the bend off is going to be called on Curry. An offensive foul. Marcus Smart continues. Donic inside for Reeves. A dime from Donic. Dancing on eight. He likes this match up. Call for the clear. Hook it inside. Horford. Will they cover? It’s a five on four for Lakers. Hurry. Smart all the way. Rolls it home. Goal so far. Here’s Donic off the screen from Machamorea. fades and fills it up in Golden State, but he is fitting in nicely. Very bound screen knocked away by Don Chen. Aiden claims in the second quarter here would say, “Well, why isn’t JJ ready challenging that call?” Lost his challenge at the end of the first quarter. Now, that’s three fouls on Draymond Green. And now foul is going to go against Kamoa and it’s going to be a chance for three. Now, just 19 points and six rebounds in this first half. Bouncing for Hatimora. His three is good. New York, Minnesota, and the Lakers. For more on these games, go to NBA.com or visit the NBA app as hot. Shot clock and game clock to wind down this second quarter. Oh, Donic. A deep one. He’s got it. Curry working on Luca. Pump fire. Ideal role for Jonathan Kaminga with this team as Nach goes up and puts it through. Count it in the not Warriors team that necessarily was super awesome. wise last year. Donic that is creative where Steph Curry is 100% of the time which is easier said than done as Donic continues to make the vision. Jonathan Ka now with 11 points in this third quarter and yet he can’t stay in front of Don this time eventually signed on a 2-year 46.8 million deal to return team for the Lakers in this game. See if LA can capitalize now. It’s eight for two. Back the other way. Reeves puts the head down. gets inside, flips it up. Well, shortener foul. Donic off the screen, fends off on Horford and he’s somehow just Marcus Smart and Jackson Hayes on the floor. Can they bring that energy and that toughness needed? Same result. Donic bend off on Butler gets the rim for two more. It’s been a lot more one-on-one. They’re allowing him seemingly to be a scorer, but they’re not letting everybody else get called as Hford Golden State. That leaves Donic open on the outside. Attacks lobs. Hayes with a finish. Nailed him out. Donic step back short rebound. Labia. Luca has not sat in the second half so far. He’s got 35 points and Smart finds some offense. She But he impacts winning to the highest degree. He’s got four fouls now as Reeves has a chance for three. Played better. He just didn’t have a great training camp. Just felt like he wasn’t shooting it particularly well and the turnovers were a problem. That’s going to be a foul. Six to shoot. Stomp is back on the floor. Attack mode. Gets to the rim. Fades and puts it home. He’s got 37. Feels like Domingo is going to be the X factor for this team this year. Aton stops, pops, and hits. Leaks out. Keel gets back defensively. Dod goes right to work. Floats it up and in. 39 points for Luc. See the trust right away. This young player’s response is there. 3912 and eight for Donic. He gets inside, gets to his spot. He’s up to 41. Backs down and intercepted. Reeves takes it the other way. Numbers for the Lakers. It’s Aiden trailing the play. Catch and finish. It’s a 70 run. Reeves attack. M for two. Now can the Lakers do the same? Reeves slicing through the lane and he’s fouled on the outside. Don trying to stay with him. Eight to shoot. Step, step back, three short. 29 points in the season opener for Butler. Reeves draws more contact. Back to a 10-point game. Reeves three. Good. Rattles one. Humps around for Donic with 41 points. On the attack for two more. Reeves with a bucket. No trouble out the clock. And your final score, a strong performance to start the season. [Music] [Music] [Music]

  1. For the record, NBC did not air the whole first quarter and beginning of the second due to Thunder going into double OT, so the video is missing a lot of highlights due to that TV problem, apologies but it was out of my control.

  2. I watched most part of the game. Skinny Luka is a beast. However, the defense is really a suspect. Ayton has butter fingers. Almost all passes fumble. I'd rather put Hayes. Austin being foul-troubled and stat padding at the latter part was not helpful. I can't remember Laravia at all. I don't know when the chemistry will jive. >.<

  3. Hmh, I don't know. I think we still don't have a proper center and Marcus Smart is taking a lot of shots (in absence of LBJ), misses a lot. Not the upgrade I was expecting. Dalton Knecht is still in the dog house, was expecting him to take the next step but it seems he's not. Same for Bronny (even further behind). So all in all I think we're not better than last year, maybe even slightly worse with the young talents not developing well.

Only highlight is Luka and AR but hey can't beat the other team alone.

  4. Jesus Christ people. Calm down experts! It is just one game of 82! Nobody knows how it is going to go….. Already " it's going to long season" or " They need LeBron"

  5. Luka can't do it alone. Austin helped too but it's not enough. The rest of the Lakers team needs to step up. They need to cash those open shots created by Luka. He could've got triple-double. Bounce back Lakers, 81 more to go!!

  6. Its weird it's like reavs freezes when playing with super stars. He stops shooting and forgets he a hood 3 point shooter. He keep playing like that and is one of the reasons lakers loss in playoffs raves could not score. It's weird lakers keep players they like but problem doing that you will lose many games I think if donton kinet was playing strongly belive lakers would not have lost there first game. Vanderbilt is not a score which means you need kenic kenic should not sit on the bench this year regardless in 7 game series or play offs. Marcus smart should be on the bench. I rather see broney James out there because he score more points then Vanderbilt

  7. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Did you want LukaShow? Now you are getting it . Who said LukaShow is about winning games? It’s about lake show. We got a show. That’s it. All presentation of Lakers as Lake Show is working! Luka’s getting all hype and attention only this thing is important! Who da f’ck care about winning games or who da hell thinking about championshipπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ like lol really? πŸ˜‚ Damn at least I knew how it will be going for Lake(Luka) Show! Show > wins and championships!

  8. Our bench sucks, JJ has to make adjustments in his rotation, AR should lead the bench and put either Vando/Smart in the starting lineup for perimeter defense, Luka/AR backcourt is painful to watch defensively.
