  1. That’s crazy it’s the first college baseball coach to go to MLB manager with no professional experience.

Happens all the time in the NFL and NBA.

  2. The blue balling is over! Idk what to think of the hire, but hope it works out and brings a modern balanced approach

  3. Buster clearly took his time and did his homework. I am 100% all in baby. Let’s make Dodger fans cry.

  4. I mean this in the nicest way possible, fuck you guys.

You will absolutely love Tony. I’m a Tennessee fan and there hasn’t been anyone associated with Tennessee sports that I’ve enjoyed more in my 40 years than him.

  5. I’m still a tad nervous, since it’s such a risk, but also excited because it’s such a risk lol.

Alrighty skipper, let’s get to work 🫡

  6. I’m stoked. We need to have an aggressive and out of the box mindset to catch up to the dodgers.

  7. First managerial signing since Farhan forced Bochy out, I am excited about. It could be great, could be horrible, but it is exciting!

  8. Gonna be interesting to see what kind of staff they hire. I know Buster said he was going to be heavily involved

  9. congrats, hoping to God this works out so we (the vols) don’t have to play against him in 5 years

  10. I’m ready for the growing pains, but I am hopeful. Anything to get out .500 hell…

  11. This is gonna end up being either really good or really bad.

But F it, it’s a bold attempt to try something new and may be worth a shot.

    🤣

  12. Fiction though it is, AFC Richmond took a huge risk hiring Ted Lasso (albeit Rebecca did so with bad intentions), and look how well it turned out by season 3. In any case, this is very exciting for Giants baseball!

  13. Welcome to the Bay! This guy is a dawg. Ask any Vols fan and they will tell you the same. Great signing by posey.

  14. I love this. Vitello has proven that he knows how to build a winning culture and motivate players. People are concerned about how veterans will respect someone who doesn’t have any MLB experience as a player or coach, but if Buster fucking Posey respects him, I don’t know who wouldn’t.

  15. I hope he wins y’all a World Series. I’m happy he’s doing what’s best for him, because he built our baseball program. However, as a Vols fan, fuck you guys and your owner too.
