Miami Dolphins vs Atlanta Falcons | Week 8 Game Preview

Miami Dolphins hit the road week eight headed to Atlanta on a three-game losing streak. One win on the year and seemingly getting worse with each passing week. Their offense only worth six points week seven taking on the Falcons whose O was good for 10 points. So neither team on much of a high heading into this week eight matchup. Watch Lenor here on this one. Dador Lenor. Watch him just butt push him right out of bounds. He’s got him secured. There you go. Goodbye. Make no bones about it. This game still means a lot to the Falcons and their defense doesn’t enter rattled by any means. Held San Francisco to 20 points. That’s their season mark which is top 10 good. Only two red zone trips allowed. No team is allowed fewer in 2025. TR takes his place number 40 for the Falcons. Niners take over the 35. M. Jones throw is incomplete. KD had a lot of attention. Jones was getting a lot of pressure as well. Miami’s offense good enough for 21 to 27 points weeks 2 to six fizzled out to six by going 1 for13 on third down four turnovers only two red zone trips didn’t convert either and beautifully played as Julian Hill tackled in the open field. Looks like he’s going to be just short of that first down marker. Head coach Mike McDaniel still the head coach to a tongue of Ailoa still his QB. Tua caught up to Gino Smith by throwing three INTs last week. 10 now for the season. One touchdown to the other team. That’s backto-back games with three picks. That one is picked. Campbell and he will walt in for the pick six on the first play of the second half. Falcons secondary held M. Jones to 152 yards, under six yards per attempt, no touchdowns, one interception, a 64 rating. Tua trying to turn things around against a group. Second in rating allowed for the year. Third lowest completion percentage allowed holding quarterbacks to six per attempt. Second lowest canded it started attacking right down the gut from the 23 off the hands of Jennings Ellis comes up with the interception. So Kaden Ellis comes up with it. M Jones with a tackle but the linebacker gets the pick. Only CMC hurt them in their loss. They gave up 72 yds to him through the air. Everyone else under 32 yds. Only one Finn with more than 31. D. Escridge with 45 on a 40-yard reception. Quinn Eers just tosses it up giving his guy a shot and they come down with the football. Escridge. What a catch. Oh, that was a great catch. And and D. Essested catch on the sideline. Jaylen Wadd just 15 yardds. Malik Washington led with eight targets. Only 30 yards to show for them. Devon Achan the only guy to show out a little 82 yards on the ground 6.3 yards per carry broke away for a 46yder 80 plus yards three of his last four five per carry or better in those three that speed Tyson Campbell maybe saving a touchdown as Aan on a slick surface burns him for 46. Maybe just hand him the ball 30 times and see what happens. Falcons defense did give up two touchdowns to McAffrey, 129 yards on 5.4 per carry and he had been scuffling as a runner before he met up with them. Here he is on the run inside pushing the pile to the goal line in for the touchdown. Have a day, have a night, CMC. Still, it was more their offense not coming through than anything else last week. 10 points versus a San Francisco defense without Bosa or Warner just two red zone trips. They’ve scored 24 plus just twice in six games. Nine essentially plays so much fullback role for this Falcons team. Next to Penn and protecting Robinson edge first down Bean Robinson touchdown Atlanta. Michael Pennix fumbled once only took two sacks on 38 pass attempts. Hurt his foot too. They say he’s day to day, so probably okay. No interceptions, one touchdown, 241 yards versus the ners. He comes in to rush the passer. You better pay attention to it. They may have ruled that a fumble and Niners ball for now. Only an 83 rating, the result of just 6.3 yardds per attempt. Only one pass went for 20 plus yards last week. 21 of 38 passing, too. Lots of incompletions. Miami’s defense gave up 24 points as they were behind the eightball a lot thanks to Tua giving up 29 a game on the year though letting teams convert plenty of third downs. See the young kid the quarterback. I like to see him throw the ball down the field a little bit. Gabriel again threads the needle. This is Cornley. Hasn’t been a big piece of this offense yet. He picks up 17. Their secondary at least held Dylan Gabriel to 116 yards. No touchdowns. held every Browns pass catcher under 40 yards. Yeah. And this this can’t happen. Look at how deep everybody drops. This is third and long. And there’s no regard for Fannon out there in the flat. And even after that showing, still last in rating allowed and completion percentage allowed, only one pick for the year. So it might have been a Dylan Gabriel thing. Pennix took two sacks, 38 pass attempts. Dolphins two sacks on 18 attempts. Atlanta with four pass catchers cracking 40 last week. Drake London with 42. Yeah, he’s got it. First down. Drake London extending on the way out of bounds. This is absolutely on the money to one hand. Never even considered. Used his right hand to pin the defensive back so he could make the catch. Far cry from his 150 plus yard outing the week before. 42 yardds on 10 targets is rough. Kyle Pittz 62 yds has 60 plus in two of his last three. The wheel route. Go up the boundary here. You have one person short and anytime you have somebody with the kind of arm strength that Pennix has, just put it in there perfectly. Darnell Mooney led them with 68 yds season high for Mooney Tunes. Pennock drifting now using that big powerful arm in traffic. Mooney not tackled stays on his feet to the 22 yd line. Will the Falcons use that timeout? Yes. And Bejon with 52 receiving yards and a touchdown. Ball to number seven. Yes. Get out of his way. Got LeBron James. Let him play. Robinson only 40 rush yards and just 2.9 a carry. So major drop off for him from the week before too. Gets a Dolphins front that gave up 84 yards and three rush TDs to Quinshan Judkins. Unleashed Judkins touchdown held him to 3.4 a run though. So again those short fields kill man. Finn’s Dirty Birds 9 to5 in favor of Aqua took till 1986 for Atlanta to finally beat Miami after losing the first four [Music] [Music]

  1. The Miami Dolphins coming off their road loss against the Cleveland Browns🟢🟠⚪️🐬
The Atlanta Falcons coming off their road loss against the San Francisco 49ers🔴⚫️⚪️🅰️

  2. This is awfully close to Toilet Bowl territory, don't you think? I'm taking the Falcons to get an easy bounce back win here. They're just total Jekyll and Hyde, while the Delphines are just Hyde. Cowboysforever❤

  3. Will Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season between the Miami Dolphins (which they are in the AFC East Division) and the Atlanta Falcons (which they are in the NFC South Division) be billed as "The Southern-style matchup?"
