Any surprises?

  1. I’m not sure who is in charge of entering the data for this formula but they need to go back and watch the actual games

  2. I think every one of us would take Rattler over Baker, Goff and Lamar any day. /s

  3. That’s insane however they calculate it. I think Rattler should keep starting but with last week and Seattle he should be near the bottom in any ranking

  4. This back to the old ‘lies, damned lies, and statistics’ line. Stats without context are pointless and why you need to look at the tape analyze the full context of the performance.

  5. Look at where Brissette is. He’s Kyler Murray’s backup. Now look where Kyler Murray is.

  6. All I’m seeing here is a graphic about how this EPA is an absolute shit statistic to judge a QB by

  7. You like stats, here’s a stat.

Of the quarterbacks that have started every game this season, Rattler second to last in the amount of touchdowns thrown. Only one ahead of Geno Smith who’s about to be crucified in Las Vegas. That’s with Olave, Shahid, and Kamara being available all 7 games.

  8. “adjusted for pass protection” “giving credit for expected yards after the catch only”.

To me, these make the whole stat worthless. I’m not interested in some hypothetical result if only the pass protection was better. The pass protection is what it is and better QBs still have success. Expected yards before the catch for someone like Rattler is low (so many short passes) which is a reason he isn’t successful but looks better in this rating.

This is a made-up BS stat that is significant of nothing.
