[Blum] I had a long back-and-forth with Perry Minasian today about comments Yusei Kikuchi made at the end of the season. Kikuchi said the Angels air conditioning had been broken in the weight room all year. And was never fixed, despite him asking. Here’s a part of it that Q&A:

  2. The whole front office is delusional and Arte Moreno has sucked all of the joy out of Angels baseball. I want to boycott but I also wanna support the players and Trout in his twilight years. It’s rough being a fan of both the ducks and angels and seeing all of the time and money put into that team and Honda center when just across the way Arte Moreno is doing the exact opposite.

  19. the saddest thing is that i feel like perry knows that he’s never going to get another GM job with another team (because why would he?) so his only chance at continuing to be a GM is to somehow lick arte’s boots so much that he gets his contract extended, even though he is basically a failure at his job, in large part due to being handcuffed by the same man he is licking the boots of. kinda tragic
