JJ McCarthy will never start another game for the Vikings. I don’t actually believe this, but I’m starting to maybe think it’s true. They’re like, it feels like they are, you know, why don’t you just go get some work on your ankle? Just keep working on it. You know, daddy’s taking the dog to the farm. He’ll be back. The dog will be back. Don’t worry. Amazing take. It’s like on TV. Somebody just is off the show for a couple weeks and they never come back. What happened? Totally. The Vikings quarterback room last year. Sam Darnold, Daniel Jones. JJ McCarthy’s on IR, but it is crazy that they let Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones go and they are like two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL this year. And now they’re playing Carson Wentz.

  1. Imagine saying that a team "Let Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones go" just a couple years ago. We are living in some crazy unpredictable times in this league. In the best ways

  5. Darnold wanted a massive payday Daniel jones was unproven at that point he’s also playing behind the best o line in the nfl right while ours has been in shambles all year. Stick to basketball you’re making yourselves look bad.

  7. Vikings offered deals to Jones and Darnold, but neither wanted to stay bc JJ was there.
    He missed all rookie year reps with a meniscus repair (not the trim like Embiid does), then had a baby and a high ankle sprain.
    For some stupid reason he went oversees with the team on a sprained ankle which made it swell up kinda bad, and KOC isn’t gonna throw him out there on one leg and no practice.
