NHL Highlights | Canadiens vs. Flames | October 22, 2025

and the number 13 special in this building. So,
this is a rarity you’re going to play with. Okay, the lights not fully up and you’ll notice the
difference when they get charged in here. So, on the television screen, it looks pretty normal,
but I can tell you that it’s still a little bit darker here in the building. This isn’t quite
like pulling the truck up on the outdoor rink, but here comes Cfield with a shot right on
Wolf. His first test. And I think it’s got to affect the goalies the most. Oh, for
sure. Pass by Suzuki in his own zone to get this pass up to Cfield. It’s abbreviated
twoon-one. Rusmas and cross ice pass. Devid wanted to go back to the line. Montreal
controlling Kan point blank. Great stop Dustin W for Kan. He’s had a great start for the
Montreal Canadians. Off our drive from this one, but they’ll make it work. Going to work are
the Flames. Weer his shot tipped in front. Kick for Frost that just stays out. Gets a puck
at the point. But watch Hanzik number 29 and Frost right at the front of the net. That’s what Ryan
Huska told us this morning. Cross ice pass that somehow stayed on side for Montreal. Curling back
with it. Slapovski over. Gets it back. Slapski shoots top of the crease. Save. Wolf took a look,
but he’s got it. A little bit better touches from him. Mat finds the lane. And look at Slavowski.
And it’s never a good feel. Goes back to Hudson up top. Suzuki side of the net over to Hudson. Over
to Book sliding save Dustin Wolf. What a split stop without a rebound. And watch this by Hudson
right to Bulld. And incredible. Wolf yelling at Bean and he nearly went into the end boards
awkwardly. Now the puck does get turned over. carrying across that guy to Evans.
Stopped on the short side by Wolf. Ball stepped up. Demid was behind him.
He’ll pick it up. Demid stick handling in and a shot for the right pass save by
Wol. Boy, Dustin Wolf has been sharp in this first. He’s only faced seven shots
and four of them have been grade eight. Seven high danger chances just to
add to that thought. Kelly Anderson lost control. Three Canadians up as Dawson
pitches in at the side. Oh my goodness. He’s made another. Dustin Wolf shutting down Captain.
Incredible action in the Canadians offensive zone. Great saves by Dudson Wolf. 0. Try
and pull Wol so far tonight. Hudson, gets it back. The Boot scores. timer meets Wolf and
Montreal. Opens the story like the first on Dustin Wolf trying to get him that
way. And you can see Bull Duke just sort of hang out in the high slot and
rip that. He had scored in the first three games of the season and then
went cold and now this is his first And that is a great shot. Little hook there from Suzuki. Bouncing out in
front corner. Otto was there but couldn’t redirect that towards Dovish. Spinning Dobson on that right
hand. Montreal speeds away. Short-handed leader got enough of Evans and Wolf. That’s a close
play. Dart free off the pad as Evans tried to bank it in. Talked to Dustin Wolf this morning.
I couldn’t believe how loosely he ties his skates for a goalender. Interesting. And speak of him.
Cuts it in. Stopped by Wolfe who stayed right there. Bornado spreads it out. Frost down low.
Hubo. Frost again. Hubo to Cry Blake. Stopped by Dovish. Might have grazed the post. Blade on the
ice but couldn’t make contact. Barby with traffic. Anderson shot blocked down. It’s loose over to the
side and Dovish stretches out to find the puck and stop the play. Bomb from the point. Real good save
by Dovish, but the puck was loose. You can see the goalender trying to stretch out, do everything
he can to keep that puck out. Oh, nice play with his blocker. That was a great play. I didn’t see
that. Believe separated that. Good look. And now Coronado, the only man back in the stretch pass.
El Suzuki even picks it up alone. Still geeks. Oh save. Incredible stop by Dustin Wolf. Knuck
that stick out. How about Wolf on this play. Watch how he stretches out and then he goes to
his right and then all of a sudden stretches out with his left pad to take away that opportunity.
I’m sure Suzuki thought that was a certain goal. I love how quickly he got up. Great play by both
goenders. And now Anderson the latest to first burst in. He’s denied by Dustin Wolf. Gallagher
stopped by Wolf. Evans heard some footsteps. Cow cross zone. Hanley hammers
it. Rebound Farby right through the crease. And there’s a
pile up in front of Dobson lost it. Clark alone shoot scores. Too fancy. Watch this. Going to try and little
tow drag in there and Morgan Frost and Adam Clapka converge on him and all of a sudden there’s a
big five hole. Adam Kapka shoots to tie it up. What a great play by Adam Klka and Morgan F. Boy,
he played great on Monday, too. Didn’t he use a force versus Winnipeg? We clap again. Stop. Doish.
Here comes Cfield down deep, but he couldn’t get the shot away. He’s correct. Recovered enough to
make it difficult. Yeah, he got his stick in there nicely off the cross out that struck iron from
Suzuki. He’s quick, right? He is quick. He’ll explode over that play all over. He can jump into
that and ball nearly jammed it in at the side. Dovish spotted it. Pressuring there was
Frost who redirected that one. Coughfield, gets it back. Hot shot stopped by Wol and he’ll
cover up. Attackers in overtime. New hook over the boards. Trailed by Demi Dove who has it
now. Demi Dove in some room as it takes Matson and scores. Here we go with the setup. Madison
wins it and Montreal keeps their roll going. Perfectly placed shot just
over the pad of Dustin Wolf. Great vision by Demidov and that’s that’s
a big win coming off the bench. Madison, I raved about him earlier about how important
he is and underrated he is and he just snuck in recognized Timmy Dov has the vision to make
that play and Montreal wins 2-1 in overtime.

  1. Hutson was a little startled by Klapka. If Klapka were like Wilson, he wouldn't have followed the puck, but would have gone to hit Hutson.
