Trying to run a little split action. They couldn’t get to it. Davis fading away. He drops it in. practicing getting close to five on five and Kyrie Irving Jason Kid said if you saw him practicing you think he’s ready to go right now as Lively looks ready to go on the buckets are dunks here’s webby step back long two is good for Victor Webinama altered by Webinyama and here comes Castle Castle bounces it out it trickles to Vel his Three is good. 98 first quarter action. Marshall back to Christie. His three is good. basketball. So, we’ll see what Webby 3.0 looks like. So far so good, Ryan and Jack. Yeah, it is amazing. Thank you, George. One of the things is D’Angelo Russell banks that in two3 zone look right now for Dallas. Johnson kicks it out. Belle three to shoot. Leaner rims in for Deon. The best he’s felt in a long time. He’s starting out the season completely healthy. Namar floats it in over Mclofflin. Much tighter spaces to make those passes. He led the nation in assists, averaging around 10 a game. It’s going to be a lot easier for him to pass with the space you get in the NBA. Really good twoman game by Dallas with D’Angelo Ruff. So Lively actually grew this off season, too. I mean, he’s over 7 feet tall. He looks like he’s 6’2. Wambi the catch and the finish. anywhere. He’s used the term plug in about a thousand times in the preseason media. WBY three to shoot. Webinyama fading and hitting Stefan Castle of the variety of roles he can take on know De’arren Fox right now. So a little bit more of a primary ball handler as he comes up with a steel leans in finishes. Plus the foul. We was there waiting. That’s a roadblock. he didn’t see in college. Washington able to hit the jumper over Webyama. A drive just couldn’t finish it. Flag. Another rebound. His fourth. Washington. Conics on a three. Neard backiring off. Champenny the flick ahead. Castle pumps it down. was Thompson can’t hit the leaner. So yes, Pal thrust into action. Weama. Oh my. The cosmic grace. Here comes Russell giving it up. Christie knocking it down. Making coming off that torn ACL as Barnes lays it in. history for a player to not make the postseason, but he’s really ingratiated himself to the community as you see that three ball there by BJ Washington. So certainly someone who the number two overall pick gets it into guarded by Washington. Wyama the fake, the reverse and the foul. a figment of our basketball imaginations with Cord and Bonyama. It’s a pretty good nickname working Davis spinning taking hitting the foul. Flag loses the handle trying to get it back. Johnson able to corral. Harper alone able to lay it in. Oh, Thompson. They need it. Another try is good. Oh, that long rebound just when has three fouls himself. Davis does start the second half on the floor as Flag is finally on the board. Lively then nearly took it away from Wemby. Instead, it’s Vel going up high to throw that down from C. But he’s got to be an aggressive scorer once he picks it up or gives it up, excuse me. Here’s Thompson. Clay drops it in again able to break it up. No look to the corner. Champenny. Sham. Yes. Just a look off pass to the corner and Julian Champenny, one of the outstanding corner three-point shooters in the league. Washington, nice touch. Lively denied emphatically by Webinyama. It’s like playing against your dad in the driveway when you’re eight years old. What do you do? Wii three. You push the foul. rebounds, three blocks. Champenny off the steel. Nice job by Washington to hang in there. Washington gets bumped. Lays it in. Bust the foul. When fakes the three, dazzles, spins, fades. Why not? He’s got everything. Russell flings it out. Davis rims in a three. The bench has 31 and 10, three blocks as well. Davis again. And a timeout taken by Mitch Johnson. Castle now with six assists to go with his six boards and 18 points. Flag fading and hitting backto back buckets for the well. And now here in San Antonio, part of this Spurs coaching staff with Mitch Johnson flag up under and in. Big time bucket sat for the back half of that third quarter after his dazzling start to it. Picked up his fourth foul and was on the bench. Here’s WBY. Wow. Just perpetual downhill. He can really make plays. Thompson mid-range. Sure. his 13th rebound. WBY shakes, takes and slams. It’s absurd. Horn fade action. Wembi gets to Castle. Castle over to the cell. Lobing it up and Webyama completes the execution of a beautiful set. Well, that was him, but he ran through the pass. Here’s Ryan Nemar when almost got a piece of that one as Davis lays Barnes twisting on the foul. It’s Castle. Another O. That’s happened a couple times tonight. It feels like Jay his fifth career 40point game. WBY spinning, elevating. You bet. A 40point opener. Most points at a season opener in franchise history. It’s been a fairly successful franchise, too. No kidding. Also, well, I try not to mention Ralph’s name very often because he traumatized me in college. I had my first ACC game. I had I was 18 years old. I had to guard Ralph. He was 74, three-time national player of the year. He’s 22 years old. Will do it. A forever season opener from Wemby as the Spurs stomp the Mavs 125- 92 the final. Oh. Oh.

  1. Is Flagg overrated and overhype generational talent? 🤔🤣 Wemby is more generational 7"4 can dribble, can shoot on 3's with good percentage.

  2. Too much dribbling too much outside game too much shooting. He likes to stand behind the three point line, he likes to start his moves from too far away from the basket. His outside game is great and shooting ability and dribbling but I need to see more reliable shots close to the basket, more back to the basket shots more imposing presence in the paint both on offense and defense, I dont see why he shouldn't average 10 blocks. Also too much footwork and fancy moves and long runs…. People that big are fragile. He needs to keep his feet on the floor more his moves need to be more solid and reliable and he needs to stay healthy and average more blocks and rebounds in a more solid and less flashy way.

  3. at last wemby stops taking 3s, plays inside more, gets rebs and fts….if he sticks to that, he ll win more and can get to goat status! and i might be a fan again. thank u hakeem! now we need wemby to study kareem and TD, ditch the kd tapes and we good to go
