Now that Spectrum has added Hulu access to their cable plan, I can finally watch the ESPN+ exclusive games on my Switch. Which is nice. But the deal for exclusive games on ESPN+ is still fucking bullshit.

Oh Gods of Hockey, We of the Lightning Fandom beseech thee. Please bless our team with the motivation to shoot the puck at the net. If it is in your favor, let a few of them go in the net, preferably more than the Blackhawks get. Please take this burnt offering of the hair of the swamp kitty, a sliver of the deck of a pirate ship, and a splash of Russian Vodka. May our ice stay cold and our blades stay sharp.
As was mentioned several times last season, the anger is legit, the target of your ire is not. ESPN purchased the rights to do this, the NHL made the decision to sell. VPN or yo ho ho.
That aside, there can be no excuses tonight. They have had rest, plenty of time to prepare, the team they are playing is improved but still not at a playoff level.
Silver lining, they aren’t the only team struggling out of the gate. With the games in hand already they are still right in the thick of the division with a couple of wins, only the Habs have had a truly hot start in the Atlantic.
Y’all , I purchased a $20 Digital Antenna from Amazon, I have a metal framed shelf above my TV, Attached antenna to that, now I’m watching every game for that one time fee. Channel 66.1 is not that bad at all.
I’m just glad Jacksonville area got a channel on direct TV to watch the games for these non ESPN plus exclusives games. Was afraid I’d miss the season or be stuck only watching when they played on national television channels.
What do we think about yesterday’s top6 @ practice? Will see if they keep for morning skate this AM
