Both Daniel Jones and Jonathan Taylor are in the MVP conversation.

  1. If it wasn’t an award they only give to QBs, Jonathan Taylor would be the MVP favorite hands down. But since it is a QB only award now and a non QB probably will never win it again, I guess we will have to settle for OPOTY and 1st team All Pro (and hopefully a Super Bowl).

  2. Sadly JT won’t win MVP unless he has literally the best season ever but he will win Super Bowl MVP so it’s fine

  3. I think it’s too early to tell but if Taylor keeps scoring TDs at the clip he’s doing, I may be naive but I think he’d have a really good shot at winning it. At the current pace on path for 25 TDs. Last time any RB got in the 20s was 2006 when LT won it.

  4. Explain to me how a guy who’s team is 4-3 is #1 on this list, other than his name….

  5. MVP is the worst name for a major sports award in the world. Everyone gets so hung up on the V that we’d rather award a good QB season over an all time season at any other position. Its stupid and lame and stupid

Just name the award after a legend of the game and let it be given to the best player of the year like it was intended

  6. Even with 3 weeks out, if Lamar continues at the standard he was at, he’ll win it. He’s still ony a handful of TDs behind, with far better *per game* stats.

IMO, he’s the best QB in the league, with Mahomes/Allen fighting for 2nd.

  7. What’s crazy is all of the QBs on the list are performing at a normal level. Anything a QB does this season that’s “MVP” worthy will be repeated next year and the year after, just like it was done last year and the year before.

We will likely never see another RB season like JT is having, and he won’t win MVQB because doesn’t play QB.
