9. it’s nice to see this. dallas went for the magic johnson appeal but we had other plans. the minutes, roles and rotation felt really well thought of. the consideration to harper too to have a great showing was also really felt.

   best part for me is the plays he gave castle were spot on. a sophomore dominating that way when wemby is already popping. first time running point too with a purpose. not to mention against flagg who is everyone is watching. mitch believed, castle delivered!

25. Last year with all the uncertainty, Mitch was just trying to keep the team afloat. He was learning on the fly and it felt like he was trying not to screw up until Pop returned.

    You can tell that after the press conference and having the full support of PATFO, Mitch has really taken the reigns. He’s a hungry coach with a very hungry, determined, superstar. That is a great recipe for success.

    Continue with the trajectory, try not to rush it and we should be solid for years

    This is absolutely a marked change from the past few years. The intensity, the attention to detail. Most of the names and faces are the same, but this is an order of magnitude more locked in and cohesive.

    And its all 100% on brand in the context of the Spurs long and storied history. This team has been hand crafted by the GOAT organization and absolutely annihilated the Mavs last night on their home court.

    Its one game, its one speech – the sort that might wear thin with alot of teams and NBA players over the long haul, but I am a fucking believer now. All in.
