I still believe sports gambling should be legal, but the way the NBA promotes it is ridiculous

We’re too far gone to make betting illegal again, but there really ought to be some sort of line drawn where it cant be advertised so much. I really think if you are the subject of the bets you shouldn’t advertise gambling, it encourages this shit way too much. ESPN having its own betting seems like such a conflict of interest too, it should really only be third party services doing it, but nah let’s advertise it every 5 minutes then act shocked when the integrity of the games is questioned

rozier one of my least favorite celtics of all time. big time bonehead who mostly just dribbled in place and did nothing for team chemistry. not surprised he’d be involved with this… was suprised he had any type of fanbase while he was here. NOT a good basketball player
They honestly need to roll back sports betting. It is ruining people’s lives.

The problem is not betting or gambling itself. The problem is people using privileged / confidential information and knowledge to make their bets. The same way the people in Congress using their privileged knowledge to buy and sell certain stocks.
Should you or I not be able to invest in the stock market? Should you or I not be able to bet on games?
With that said, i hate sports gambling because it takes away from the focus on what sports is… the athleticism and showmanship and competition of the game.
Can’t wait to hear about the bullets that says “fixing bets” and “fuck sportsbooks”
