But this sub said his arms are too short to be successful…
Great pass blocker so far, needs to improve on run blocking but so far he looks really good
I was admittedly one of the skeptical ones but I’ve been thrilled with Big Country.
Happy he should be a Patriot for a long time.
That’s our t-rex!
Back to back seasons of first round drafts succeeding for us. Obviously Maye is more of a home run, but Campbell with linear progression and good coaching could be a part of our OL for years to come
I was skeptical as well and still remain unimpressed by his run blocking in which his guy is in the backfield wrapping up runners on what feels like half the runs to the left. But so far he’s a real NFL OL starter and should be locked in for a decade, which is a major piece.
He’s gonna have the toughest test of the season so far, and maybe for the whole year this week against Myles Garrett. Can’t wait to watch it.
PFF ratings don’t mean anything lol. Not that long ago JJ Watt said the scores are based solely on TV game footage. Nothing else is taken into account. Scheme, assignment, etc. Basically said it’s garbage.
Edit: Funny that I’m being downvoted for this. I’m not trying to say Campbell has been bad. He’s been great. All I’m saying is looking at PFF grades doesn’t mean shit. Grading based off of just TV footage is garbage.
Myles is unlike anyone else in the league I just hope he can hold his own lol cmon big country!!!
Thank God we were “forced” to take him and not Travis Hunter or Ashton Jeanty
T-Rex was the apex predator for a reason
Getting the autographed football from the Patriots makes seeing this even better!! He’s having a great year so far!
But Felger and Mazz said his arms are to short!
He’s unreal. I just bought a jersey yesterday!
Love this growth.
Most of all I am looking forward to him gaining full confidence so he can go attack more. Right now he is lost down field but he has potential to be a Mankins!
Great article about his youth, family, and community in The Athletic – gave me a new appreciation for him both as a player and a human being.
Huge test this week. We’ll see if he can hold up against elite pass rushers. One worry with this team is will the o line continue to be this good against great d lines
So glad he’s looking like a great player.
But this sub told me PFF gradings are useless.
Turns out they are useful if they reflect a positive outcome. Huh
Campbell has been fine for a rookie, but declaring him a starter at tackle for years to come is still a stretch.
We are set for 15 years at LT. Can you imagine how good this line would be if we got Logan mankins instead of the bears.
He will be a beast for years.
What is the difference between Pass and Pass Block, as well as Run and Run block?

Why does he have grades for PASS, RECV, RUN?
