What did you tell your team? Just how hard they fought. Um, you know, I think uh all season long these guys um just fought so hard. We, you know, had setbacks and and you have you go through ups and downs and these guys were always there uh bouncing back, working hard, getting through it and um you know, it’s just an incredible group. It’s a special group that’s been in there and and uh you know, what they’ve done uh with each other and and um you know, how hard they’ve worked and how far they’ve gotten. Um, you know, it’s just a it’s a tough one to swallow. How difficult was Toronto as an opponent? Yeah, I mean, it was a good series. Great series back and forth, you know, two good teams. You know, congratulations to the to the Blue Jays on on uh you know, advancing and and uh you know, just an incredible series. Um and uh you know, it was back and forth. We saw a lot of momentum shifts, a lot of momentum changes. Um and um you know it just uh uh you know it ended up Toronto’s way but uh a heck of a job on our guys’ part and on how hard they fought.

  6. My heart still hurts over that 7th inning. But that's been Mariners baseball my entire 43 years on this earth. We took strides in this series to get closer to the ultimate goal than we ever have. Great playoff experience gained on this run that will help us tremendously going forward and hopefully we'll find ourselves here again sooner than later but next time advancing. Having Woo out as long as he was definitely hurt. There's some players on this team that I love, but who I dont think are the right pieces. Too many dry slumps for too many players in critical situations not being able to hit. We better sign Naylor long term. Let's grow from this and get better!!!! I am in no way a Dodgers fan so I'll be rooting for Toronto to win it all. Go M's!!!

  12. Said to my son as soon as Bazardo came in to face Springer that this could be a problem. Woo made Springer look silly in his last AB. Woo was still throwing well even with the walk and single. With one out, I think he deserved a shot to work his way out of that situation. It is what it is.

  20. One pitch. The Mariners had a great season. They went to seven games. Somebody had to win, somebody had to lose. One pitch that got hit out of the park. Just the way it is.
