  1. Someone associated with the Spurs running their team was inevitable I guess. Should’ve taken Becky when they had the chance.

eta: Obviously glad they didn’t for her sake.

  2. When did he join the Blazers? I guess I missed the news. I knew he won a championship in France, I think, as a coach.

  3. Happy for Splitter! Crazy situation in Portland but this could be a blessing in disguise for him to showcase his coaching skills. I wish him the best.

  4. Let’s gooooooooo! If Portland doesn’t disintegrate this season he might get more offers

  5. Has anyone ever made a diagram of the pop coaching tree

And then one that extends from Don Nelson/ Larry Brown as those were the dudes who got Pop started (and Hank Egan)

  6. As someone from Denver, seeing Chauncey get caught up on this really hurts. Like he’s such a well respected figure here in the city, it be like D Rob getting caught up in some shady stuff.

It’s really sad to see a favorite player fall from grace like this, but I’m wishing Tiago the best. If he can steer this team through choppy waters, that should hopefully convince the Blazers or some other team to give him a HC job.

  7. When I saw his name trending this morning, it was alarming after the Chauncey news. Really happy for him that he’s got such a big opportunity!
