“There are a few backups in this league that can be starters in the NFL. I am a believer that Jacoby Brissett is one of those guys.”
“He understands how to play the position. And so, when you plug him in, he’s not a guy who will keep the seat warm to play a game or two. This is a guy who could be starting in this league at a few places that are struggling at that spot. And so, he’s come in and given them that kind of leadership.”

Warner, Palmer, Brissett?
I’m curious how we’ll look with Murray. We have been playing much less conservative.
I like Murray, but he’s never been questioned as the starter for this team. Bryce Young has played waaay better since being benched for Dalton. I’m not saying their situations are the same, but maybe bench him and light a fire under his ass. When people face those situations they tend to burn bright or fold, I would be curious to see what happens.
I mean everyone should be, brissett has just flat out looked better and the offense has been better and it’s been against good teams too. Murray pretty much just dumps the ball off and can not spread the ball around at all. Brissett is our best chance if we’re trying to still win this season
