[Highlight] Justin Fields on Jets owner Woody Johnson calling him out: “It doesn’t bother me. Of course, everybody knows I need to play better, we need to play better as a team. No matter how the offense does as a unit, I’m going to get the blame and I understand that.”

  1. Class act. Man is not an NFL QB but with his speed makes me wonder how he would do at another position like tail back or tight end.

  2. Think whatever you want about Justin but Woody should have never opened his stupid fucking mouth. And that I think we can all agree on.

  3. He also said he’s only met Woody once. Before a game. Is that not strange? The Colts owner is literally on the sidelines with the team sometimes.

  4. No QB will ever come play for the Jets again – you’d have to be crazy to burn down your career vs taking a back-up job someplace else.

  5. He seems too indifferent, like all of this actually doesn’t matter to him. It bothers me. It not that I want him to care about the noise, but I’d like to see him care about his play.

  6. Class act. Good kid, not so good QB. Obviously very athletic and tough.

Just put Tyrod under center with Fields and Hall in the backfield.

  7. Even Woody knows he shouldn’t have said it. He said it then immediately tried to walk it back called fields talented but said it was not giving. Woody was trying to defend Glenn and be candid but hes just an idiot and incapable of the grace necessary

  8. Fields sucks, but Woody is far worse at his job..so he really shouldn’t be talking about anyone else.

  9. Dam dude I really like this guy but he needs to be one a Tightend. I see why Glenn likes him so much, he’s a good dude. Just not a good QB

  10. In what other industry can someone sign a huge contract, be all but incompetent at the job and NOT get called out for it? I don’t understand the idea that all athletes need to be coddled and not hear the truth. That isn’t accountability. Accountability is “your underperforming and if you don’t improve you will be replaced”. That’s the real world. Fields doesn’t seem to get it and it’s year 5. He’s hopeless.
