shoots in. Much of the first two minutes has been played in the Rangers zone. Awful lot of

gives the Sharks a one- nothing lead. San Jose gets on the board here. It’s pretty 
simple stuff. Godette, who’s a free agent signing from Ottawa in the off season down low. 
It’s going to be Misa. Tough pick. And boy, the Rangers are a mess in the first two minutes 
of this first period in the defensive zone. Wide open in front. We haven’t seen that lack of 
coverage. Has to kind of look and and Mike, well, we’d like to believe we’re hungry also. San Jose 
a little hungry here though here off the start. Shot by Ekler was stopped by Shurk and they score 
on the rebound. Just 6 seconds in to the power play. The Sharks take a two nothing lead. It’s 
CBrini’s third of the season. Strength in the defensive zone. Too much too much open ice. Even 
when you’re down a man, this puck will come off. It’ll go off a couple of skates and a stick and 
eventually go off Robertson’s skate. Whole bunch of stuff going on in front. Bounces here, bounces 
there off the left leg of Borggan. Robertson without a stick. San Jose the only winless team 
in the National Hockey League. Record of 04 and two. There comes Lafrenier reaches with numbers. 
Lafrenier in with a shot off the post. Carrick winds the puck around. Susi keeps it alive. Now 
Carrick out to Radish. Radish long shot. Score. The Rangers are on the board. Radish from long 
range. And the Rangers get on top of the puck. Susie’s going to do a simple thing and throw it 
back in. It’ll eventually get to Radish in the traffic distraction. In front is Edstrom. Very 
straightforward play by Carrick and his crew. That one goes off the left leg of the Giant 
defender. Carrick up the boards down to 15 seconds. [ __ ] couldn’t clear. Ecklund 
over to Smith and now celebrating scores. Mlin celebrating with his second goal of 
the period. With just 8 seconds remaining, it’s now 3-1 San Jose. Let alone the clear. 
Right. This clear doesn’t get out as Culie tries to find a way out. And I’ll tell you, 
this is a hell of a shot right here. That’s a goal scorer’s goal. There’s no question. 
But you, you know, you’re down to the tag ends of a period. You got to understand 
the clock and the urgency to make a play. Rangers 0 for two on the power play with two shots. Rangers control. Here’s Fox 
now. Lafford Lafford cross score on the power play. Rangers pull to one. 
Quick possession of the puck off the face off. JT Miller. So off the face off, Savannah 
wins the draw. Now Miller’s going to creep to the net and he eliminates Orlop. That puck 
comes across the lane and it’s right on the wheelhouse of Mika Zabanagad. Power play goal. 
The Rangers pull to within one. Fox and Borggan together here or excuse me Robertson on the ice 
with Borggan. Here’s Paneran. Shoots blockier stopped by Nadulkovich. Ekan stepped in front 
of Sherry and it’s Wberg for San Jose. Carried back across by Sherry. Cherry out in front. 
Score. Push it in. Ties the game at three. Back up ice. Sherry picks up the puck. He 
makes a really good play and then finds Parsons who just come off the bench. So, a 
quick power play goal. What a great play by Connor Sherry. Right head up. Little little 
juke. Will Smith for San Jose. Cross ice pass. One-time wide. Celebrating now. Ecklund 
back around for Celebrating. Lost the puck. Here comes Radish. Has the advantage out on 
his right. Radish moves in. Sh. He scores. Shorthanded goal. Tyler Radish. his second 
of the night. The Rangers take the lead four to three. How Radish looks off the defender. 
Everybody in the building thinks this is coming as a vantage except Radish. Looks him off. Comes 
up, looks him off, and then snaps it alongside Olaf once again. Olaf shoots down to 10 seconds. 
Celebrity scores. It’s a hat-tick. And for the second straight period, he scores in the final 
seconds. Puck will come into the corner. You’re late in the period. Oh, this this just a That’s 
a heck of a shot. A good play by Smith. A better shot by Celibbrini and he’s got himself 
a hat-tick here at Madison Square Garden. Carrick wins the draw. Here’s Steiner off the 
post. Braden Steiner hit the left post behind Adulkovich. Snider’s getting an opportunity here 
and it rings off the inside post. Will [ __ ] has up now Smith to Foley back out to Smith. Eckling 
for celery. Celebrate. Shoot. Saved by Sharken. And then off the post from Tofolei. There’s 
Wbber down low. First penalty expires. Pulley out of the box. Here’s Celebrating Cross. Ecklyn 
saves a circuit. Another. And then Smith scores. Again, you’re trying to get into position down 
to the tag ends. One save, two off the blocker, just not enough bodies on the ice to 
pick up Will Smith. So once again, Celabbrini is probably going to get another 
point. Will Smith, another top draft pick of the San Jose Fox back to play it. Shots 
23 a piece. San Jose leading five to four. Miller slides it across. Radish scores. It’s a 
hat-tick. Taylor Radish ties the game at five. Changes now. Miller is out of gas, but there’s 
enough on this. And then that puck is absolutely hammered to the back of the net and Taylor Radish 
has tied this thing up. What a pass by Miller. moving in on Lafernier. Smith to the 
net. Celebrating stopped by Shurken. Boy, I’ll tell you that’s a heck of a save by Shurken. 
A welldevised play by San Jose. Now celebrating for Smith. He scores. Will Smith wins the game 
in overtime for San Jose. His second goal, fourth point. Five points for Celibbrini. Now the Sharks 
have their and then you swing through and this young talent of San Jose goes to work. A brilliant 
pass and a tremendous finish by Smith again. Sneaks through the seams. The Rangers guilty. Out 
of sight, out of mind. And the rangers have lost.
