[Ira Winderman] An out for NBA? If Hornets can’t be forced to return 1st-rounder due from Heat from Rozier trade (claiming, like NBA, they didn’t now), fine. Then add compensatory 1st-rounder for Heat in year pick is forwarded to Hornets. That, in turn, unlocks all future Heat picks for trade.

  1. Everyone should quickly accept the fact that the Heat just made a bad trade and we’re not getting our pick back.

  2. # I am pissed [the League knew about the irregular betting the day it happened](https://www.reddit.com/r/heat/comments/1oei3p8/the_sports_books_caught_the_irregular_betting_on/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button).

    # And they did NOT F-ing inform the Heat.

It wasn’t only that we gave up a 1st and took on a year of terrible basketball.

    # We should be compensated with a 2026 top-4 pick.

  3. Nah give us OUR FRP back. I’d rather have the 10th pick in the draft than compensatory 31st pick in the draft.

  4. They knew!!!! Tf. NBA shutdown that dude for the year. The NBA isn’t keeping that shxt close to the vest

  5. It’s an idea.

I think the NBA Draft needs a 3rd round anyway. Some of the picks could be compensatory selections like how the NFL does it.

Any players picked in the third round is automatically designated a two-way.
