HIGHLIGHTS: Matthew Stafford’s Best Throws From 5-Touchdown Game vs. Jaguars in London

guys to fill that void today.
So second and ten Stafford
another pass. He throws that one short as tight end Colby
Parkinson with the grab. Brings
up third and manageable for a recovery that they will be
missing today without having
Lloyd. Let’s see what Anthony Campanelli the DC dials up here
on third and two from right
around midfield. Stafford wide open Tyler Higbee moves the
chains first down. And the
natural thing to think without up second and four just inside
the Jacksonville 40. Fake
Stafford from the pocket. Another drop off to his tight
end. This is Davis Allen. So
that’s a first down grab I guess Kurt without Puka Nacua
you’d see more tight end action.
The three tight ends have all caught a pass on this opening
drive. When you also see we
talked about being a little bit Michigan is the running back on
second and seven. They fake it
to him Stafford flips that one downfield and complete. That is
the first catch of the game.
The second catch of the game for Tyler Higbee. And a second
first down reception for him as
well. Very few quarterbacks. This is now a fourth and three
Stafford pump fakes brings it
complete to Williams. Tiptoes down the sidelines out at the
eight first down Rams. It’s a
great job right here I talk all just a tough situation for
defensive back to just let him
catch. Apparently there was helmet contact so you can’t
take it off. Mike Pereira is
going to be joining us throughout the day for the end
zone. It’s a touchdown grab by.
Munford. Only one catch coming into this game in his career.
And the rookie from Pittsburgh
snags his first career touchdown. Well they said we’re
going to have to use everybody.
Everybody’s going to have to for Wingard. Now from their own
42. Play fake to Kareem
Stafford with time once again for his tight end Colby
Parkinson with a nice chunk
play. First down Rams. So much fun to watch Matthew Stafford
just throw a football. He
throws from so many different angles. Saw the little sidearm
throw on the touchdown. Got to
see it here as he’s rolling out to his left hand side. Route on
the bottom. Nic need him a rookie from Oregon.
Stafford, who is left. There’s
Adams first catch of the day for the future Hall of Famer.
On Greg Newsome to the
Jacksonville 15. Another corner again. It’s Kareem behind him
from the 15 two three. Fake to
him. Roll to his right. There’s the aforementioned Smith. So
Xavier Smith makes it the
seventh different receiver to catch a pass right now for
Matthew Stafford eighth
different guy targeted. And I their quarterback. First and
goal from the two. There’s a
quick throw for Adams. Touchdown Rams. Davante Adams
gets the feet down and it’s a
13 nothing game here in Wembley. That guy can make it pretty
easy on the quarterback as well.
Just an RPO type situation. We got a run called. We get
DeVante one on one on a quick
fade. If you like it take it. N allow one thing to stack on top
of another? It’s the fifth
penalty of the day for Jacksonville that had ten last
week. Stafford throws to a wide
open. Davante Adams sat down in front of amidst three
Jacksonville defenders and
brings it in. Gain of 15. Just a deep curl route here. Find
the soft spot in the zone.
You’re going to see the deep curl on the inside to the
outside. You see in between
three defenders. Perfect. Throw passes already as he sets up
from the Jacksonville 17 up 14.
Nothing. And the Rams do get the ball first to start the
second half Stafford had a
screen set up and it is set up. And it goes for a touchdown.
Colby Parkinson. The Rams just
go straight down the field and of the end zone. According to
the officials. So let’s try it
again. Second and goal. Stafford fakes it to Adams.
Touchdown! Flag is down. But
for the moment Adams has his second touchdown of the day.
Pass interference defense
number six. Adams. Just using his hands
looking for the jam here on the
bottom of the screen. Uses his hands to throw off the DB.
Create a little separation a
good throw up and over and being able to track it. That’s
what he does. He scores
touchdowns. He was talking throw. He doesn’t get a chance
to get his eyes back.
Miscommunication leads to another. And here’s the Rams
with the next offensive series
is a throw to Blake Corum Blake. And it’s just again another
yeah another shot another out
on downs right there. And you fourth quarter. The Rams up 21.
Nothing on their own 39 yard
line on second and eight. Kyren Williams to Stafford’s left
right throws left. Pardon me.
And I do know I guess I’ve been here in London so long I can’t
tell my left from my right, but
that was wittington there with good at it. Why waste our time?
But you see Whittington taking
advantage of that one right there on the quick pass play
fake to Williams is a grab
right there by Xavier Smith. That’s his second catch of the
day. Second year player out of
Florida A&M. Everybody pitching going to snap the football here.
So now it’s fourth in less than
a yard. And Stafford’s going to throw for it. And he’s got
himself a receiver. And it is a
touchdown. Terrance Ferguson the second rookie to catch a
touchdown pass from Stafford
today. It’s a four pack for number 930 yarder. And the Rams
are putting it on the Jaguars.
Well you got a 21 point lead. You can mess around with some
things. And you call the naked
bootleg. But it’s a double move. could have been it. All right,
well, maybe this is it. Oh
Blake Corum’s behind Stafford and he’s throwing for it. And
it’s Adams. And we have history.
Davante Adams third touchdown reception of the day. And
Matthew Stafford sets an
international series record with his fifth touchdown throw
here in Wembley. Now basically
the same play they ran for the first touchdown. You get just a
one on one on the outside. You

  1. Congrats to the Rams a strong team – – the loss to the 49ers was a fluke, the 49ers looked like an XFL team vs the Jaguars and lost. This actually reinforces the fact that despite the record, the 49ers WILL NOT even make the playoffs in any forseeable future.

  2. Alright, Alright, Alright πŸ‘ another Win for the RAM$πŸŽ‰.. LET'S GO RAMS NATION 😎 HORNS 🀘 STAY STRONG πŸ’ͺ.. Can't wait to see Nakua back on the field πŸ˜ŠπŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

  3. That first TD throw was ridiculous. It looked like nothing big but as a Lions fan who’s followed Stafford it’s like he finally realized his arm talent and that he doesn’t have to rocket every throw in tight windows.

  4. THIS WHOE TEAM ARE A BUNCH OF DAWGSS!!! Ever play that’s one hear is a highlight of everyone putting in hard work!! YOU GUYS CAN GET THE NEXT DUB AND DUB AGAINST THE 40 WHINERS!!

  5. Stafford is so smart. Hes like a pitcher who gets "crafty" later in his career. He knows how to put the ball where only his guy can get it. Thats why passing in the red zone works. Frustratung at times, but if theyre going to go anywhere, they have finish in red zone. Thats why they're not 7-0.

  6. Great distribution. Tutu runs motions which spread the defense for everyone else because of his speed, but they need to get the ball in his hands in open space 2 or 3 times a game to break one the distance and make those motions even more effective.
