  1. It’s a no brainer to start Porter after the bye imo. There’s absolutely no way he can do worse than Kyu BBQ Chicken Kelly. Let’s see what the kid has.

  2. If you watch the show, porter actually looks good in coverage. I hope they play all of these rookies after the bye (LBs too)

  3. My only explanation for this roster construction is the FO and coaching staff are on completely different pages and Pete has gone senile while Spytek is doing a 3 year rebuild. Look at the draft picks

Bech (for when Jakobi leaves as FA) Caleb Rogers (for when Parham leaves as FA) Grant (to take over for Kolton in 2 seasons) Porter (to start at CB next year) Thornton (2 year project) Tonka and Pegues (to take over for Adam Butler next season)

And as long as Spytek survives 2-3 years he gets to pick the new head coach

  4. Dude is pulling up clips of routes opening with the timing of the drop and complaining that the offense doesn’t do that?

The Porter part of this is interesting but Marcus feels like he decided there was a narrative with the timing/design and forced clips that don’t even demonstrate that. There might be plays where it is true but these first two aren’t good examples. And very often it is clearly Geno being an amateur in his dropback mechanics or freelancing himself out of timing.

It is Geno “and” Chip but… it is fucking Geno.
