Travis Hunter Shines but Jaguars Lack Execution vs. Rams | Jacksonville Jaguars
[Music] Welcome to Rapid Recap presented by Dreamfinders Homes. We’re at Wembley Stadium in London. Bucky Brooks, Kanani Stevens. A frustrating loss to the Rams. We’ve been looking forward to this game before the by-week and it felt like right out of the gate that they didn’t quite have what they needed. Yeah, I mean, a lot was made about it and I could tell that we were a little uptight. We were a little anxious and really emotional in terms of the way that we overreacted because we certainly were out of source from the jump. But I’m going to be real with you. The rims kicked us up and down the field from beginning to end. They dominated the line of scrimmage. Matthew Stafford was Look, Matthew Stafford dealing like a Vegas blackjack dealer and we couldn’t cover the receivers on the outside. It was a bad performance. There’s no way to talk about I mean it was just a bad performance from us. Try to do a positive here. Travis Hunter getting his first career touchdown. Had a great pass break up against Devonte Adams in the game in the third quarter. It’s hard to argue you shouldn’t be playing him more at this point, right? Oh, he’s him. He’s legit. And on offense, he is the best wide receiver that we have. At some point, we’re going to have to make that transition from him being the complimentary guy to being the main guy because he catches the ball consistently. He makes plays. He’s reliable and dependable. And Trevor has a trust in him that shows up on tape. Then on defense, he’s willing to take the challenge. He went over, wanted Devonte Adams to play manto man against him, shattered him, held his own. He is everything that we talked about. Now we have to give him more opportunities to be that guy. Going into the bye-week, what’s your main area of focus? What needs to change first? Everything. Everything. We got to focus on clean up all the bad stuff. We’re beating ourselves. Liam always talks about the Jaguars can’t beat the Jaguars. We’ve seen last couple weeks too many drops, too many penalties, uh, too many poor executed, poorly executed plays. We got to fix all that in the bye-week. All right, enjoy the by-week. We’ll see you in two weeks in Vegas.
The Jaguars failed to execute in Week 7, getting beaten on all fronts by the Rams despite a strong game from WR/DB Travis Hunter. The offensive line struggled for the second week in a row and the defense gave up 5 passing touchdowns to Rams’ QB Matthew Stafford in a 35-7 loss. The team will use their upcoming bye week to recharge and look to come back firing on all cylinders in Week 9.

We suck
Why draft Hunter if you don’t play him on both sides.
The Jaguars have a QB problem. Lawrence ain’t it.
Give Travis Hunter the ball.
Have at corner full time.
Lewis can not play outside.
Stop the excuses for your actions and own up to them and change them your quarterback will be gone soon because he simply won’t change
They were suck today god damn jags you have to win or else you guys just not good enough what I was thinking Doug Peterson was suck to but Liam coen is better keep it up please amen
Even bucky just acknowledged it btj ain't that dude he soft Mac had nobody else to sling it to last year and he's not what everyone was hoping he'd be a product of Trent.
London games no fun
OK great. So we have one good player number 12. Next year's draft we get another one because we're gonna be drafting really early. OK so that's 2 now we need 51 more. Next time let's hire three GMS and six head coaches. Statistically there has to be a good one in the bunch
Females are to be seen not heard especially about sports 💯
Trevor gotta go!
Keep the faith in TLaw
"Hunter shines" being force fed, finally sniffin 100 yards, 7 points total offense, 35 points given up
You guys are so quick to blame the QB. Look at the penalties, Drops, and sacks. Im not saying TLaw isn't to blame but the inconsistency from the WHOLE offense hurts everyone.
