Man I watched a short YouTube video on this young man .. back in his hometown and he showed his mums house where he grew up .. this kid is humble and such an easy person to root for .. this kid is a blessing man .. an absolute perfect fit for Philly .. the humble dawg .. so fucking pumped to watch our young backcourt develop .. Maxey .. McCain and VJ … we back boys .. we fucking back .. also FTC ..

All you need to do to see what a class act this guy is, is watch the post game interview from the opener. Every word was to credit his team, except when he called Kate Scott “sir” and couldn’t stop apologizing to her 😂

Maxey/McCain/VJ. I hate to say it, but man, if we didn’t have the corpses of Embiid and George tied up for years we’d be set to lure a hungry superstar or two here to play with such a great supporting cast.
I sometimes think a lot of people forget that we have serious poverty issues in the United States. Now that SNAP and other benefits are not available, the ppl who were poor already will suffer even more. I wish we could spend the money we send overseas could be used for ppl here who are suffering.
We need more guys like this and ones who play for the love of the game (Maxey) than guys just looking to cash a check or make their next big bag
There was a post draft interview with his mom, and when they asked her a question she was overcome with emotion ( understandable) and couldn’t finish her thought. He grabbed her shoulder, stepped right in to finish the interview and just hugged her throughout it. The kind of kid everybody dreams of having, he deserves being blessed with his otherworldly talent. We are truly lucky to have him AND Maxey
Everyone that lived and died prior to the 20th century had that dog in them due to having no electricity
Just get rid of PG and embiid and build around Maxey and VJ. I want to say Mccain too, but he has been injured too much already. It’s time to move on from Embiid, though. At this point I would just get what you can for Embiid and move on. Maxey and VJ are the future
This was one of those situations where you could just tell quickly that they made the right pick. His family showed up to the draft smiling in full Sixers gear, he made this quote while being emotional immediately after being drafted, and he was wearing Sixers gear and with teammates IMMEDIATELY. He genuinely wants to be here and appreciates the opportunity, which is exactly what we want/need.
