WORST TEAM IN THE NFL! | Carolina Panthers vs New York Jets RECAP & REACTION

So, another week, another Jets loss. Pretty much just a weekly thing at this point. Not many people are surprised by the outcome, I would say. Um, I mean, the Jets are just simply inept. It’s really what it comes down to, right? But it goes so much further than just, hey, this is, you know, another Sunday, another loss. No, the Jets continue to embarrass themselves. The Jets continue to prove to the rest of the NFL, all 31 teams out there, hey, no, we’re the laughingtock. We’re the laughingstock of the league. Credit Carolina, right? You know, granted, it’s not some herculean effort or anything like that, but this is a bad road team that walks into Metife Stadium. Bryce Young is injured. They they kind of, you know, scratch, claw, fight their way pretty much throughout the course of the game, they they they battle adversity and leave 13 to six. Offense isn’t really doing much, but they secure the win. Right? You hear the term all the time, good teams find ways to win, bad teams find ways to lose. And the New York Jets are simply a bad team. No, I would say the worst team in football. It is a joke. I pro I probably asked this question like 20 times throughout the course of this game. What are we doing from a coaching standpoint? From an offensive standpoint, from a quarterback standpoint, what are we doing? What are we doing? I mean, Glenn is sticking up for fields after, you know, last week’s horrific horrific historically horrific performance. acting like everyone like it was very reminiscent of Aaron Rogers, Robert Solid, Joe Douglas, right? Where you kind of feel like they are acting like the smartest person in the room and they know better than everybody else despite the actual product on the field. So you have Glenn sticking up for Justin, you have him supporting Justin all week and the the storyline around this team is look, if you want to stick with Justin Fields, he better perform and or you better play to his strengths. And the Jets roll fields out there and it’s almost identical to last week where the defense looks great. They’re flying around. The young guys are making plays. Quinnon, Malachi Moore was doing some awesome awesome things at the, you know, at the safety position. Harrison Phillips, Briggs, like the defense came to play. Jamie and Short had a bunch of tackles today. And special teams, right? I I mean whether you want to talk about punting, punt coverage, return game, setting the Jets offense up nicely in the middle of the field in the lone Nick Folk kick, right? He you know he he hit that in the first half. I mean, the special teams did enough in the first half, the defense did enough in the first half, but because the offense is just so utterly bad, you find yourself losing at halftime again. And now, right, the question is, okay, are is Glenn going to go down with the with the Justin Field chip, or is he going to pull the plug and put Tyrod Taylor in the player that probably should have started the game to begin with? And he goes with Tyrod. The offense looks like it has more energy, right? And I think a part of that is Tyrod just, you know, extending plays, making some some awesome throws. But you look at the play calling. Oh my god. Like you look at the play calling in the freaking second half. What the hell are they? What are we doing? It’s I want to say the Jets threw more deep shots in the third quarter alone than the first six games of the NFL season. How many times did Bree Hall get a handoff in the second half? Mind you, we are not down 30. We are not playing the Eagles, the Chiefs, the Bills. Yeah. Again, no disrespect to Carolina. They’re a 40-1 win football team. That’s awesome. But we are not facing the Super Bowl favorite down 30 35 points. Why are we taking so many deep shots? We with Garrett Wilson out. We’re down by one score. And then when we when we were down by 10, it’s a 10-point lead. And yet we’re acting like we’re down 35 to3 trying to make this, you know, comeback in the AFC Championship game just heating the ball down the field. So, Tyrod has a couple of picks and they completely just completely abandoned the run. You know, to my count, I I wrote this number down. 27 pass plays in the second half with Tyrod Taylor. I counted what one Breeze Hall handoff in the in the whole second half. I I mean my number could be wrong there, but oh my like if you are a Varo there, the Panthers defensive coordinator like yeah, you’re you’re picking up on the Jets just calling a pass play every time and then they just start launching it down the field. That tells me that the Jets did not have a plan for Tyrod Taylor when he entered the game. It was full-on panic mode. We need to come back. We need to create an explosive play. We need to do something down the field or else we’re going to punt the ball back. It’s like it’s like this level of panic, right? There’s no rhyme or reason. There’s no method to the madness. It’s just snap the ball. Hopefully, Tyrod either hits someone down the field or extends and makes a play. That to me is not good coaching. It’s not good coaching. And what makes it even worse is that not only were the Jets not prepared to put Tyrod Taylor in the game, but that was the biggest talking point all week. Quarterback inept against the Denver Broncos. And once again, we have the defense showing out, the special teams units. I mean, how many three and outs were there? Three, four, three, four, three and outs, but held by this Jets defense. The offense giving the ball back. They give the ball back. They give the ball back. They get all game the Jets are punting the ball back to Carolina. And yet, it’s defensive stand after defensive stand after defensive stand with no Quincy Williams. The Jets are beat up on the defensive side of the football. We’re starting young guys. Sauce Gardner leaves. Credit Steve Wilks. Steve Wils yet again. I mean, I think I said this in the recap video after the Bronco game, too. It’s like, you know, if the Jets can just get subpar quarterback play, we probably would have won this football game, you know? But again, it’s just offensively the team is just it’s just so damn difficult to watch the I mean, explore around the league, right? Look at the other quoteunquote bad teams probably outside of Miami, but Cleveland, like their offense, you know, despite them not being good, not having much talent, starting a third round uh pick here, Dylan Gabriel, like they’re at least picking up yards and getting in the end zone, they at least look functional like like there there there is a plan there. There’s like an identity. There’s a there’s a there’s a uh a certain type of brand or DNA. Saints, Spencer Rattler, a young quarterback that doesn’t have a lot of experience, rookie head coach Kellen Moore. Like, you could go down the list of all these teams that have bad offenses or are in bad situations or frankly bad teams and there’s stuff that you can maybe like hang your hat on like, okay, you know what? Like, here’s a good moment. Here’s a good moment. This player’s playing well. But like with the Jets offense, it’s just like again, it just feels like there’s no rhyme or reason for anything. And there are just major major major questions. Look, I had the Jets as a one in5 team. No one was expecting this Jets team to win 9 10 11 12 games this season. Nobody. But what a lot of people were expecting was, hey, you know what? Maybe it might not be the best to judge this team by what the final score indicates, but how they’re looking during the game. Are they going back and forth? Are they being out coached? Are they beating themselves? Do they look wellprepared? Are they handling in-game situations well? How do they battle back from adversity? Right? Something bad happens. How do you bounce back from it? What’s the clock management looking like? What’s halftime adjustments looking like? Is there a steady uh trajectory throughout the course of the season? Are you getting better on both sides of the ball or really all three phases with special teams included? Is the coaching staff feeling more comfortable as the season goes on? And I think in most cases, the answer for the Jets is they’re coming up short. They’re not I mean, the Jets fans have set their bar so damn low for this team. And they c you know what fan base is just like looking at their favorite NFL team saying, “Hey, you know what? We’re probably going to win four, five, six games this season, but let’s just compete.” And the Jets aren’t even Yes, they only lost by one score. I get that completely. But I mean this offense I mean it is just it just it it makes you ask some serious serious questions here. This was the turning point for me like when I was uh you know when we all got the schedule uh back in May. This game was the turning point for me where I’m thinking okay you know what Panthers tougher game against Cincinnati but then we got the Cleveland Browns coming up like this is where the Jets could potentially turn the corner and again no disrespect to Carolina here. They went out and they earned that victory but I mean it is just bad football. the Jets are the worst team in football and it makes you ask serious questions about the coaching staff, you know, and it’s it’s not just, oh, the offense is bad. Weird, strange decision. Like for example, for we get the ball, right, to start the game. Not only do we start that drive in pretty damn good field pos uh field position, but we’re in a position to kick a field goal on the first drive of the game. And we opt to go for fourth in medium with Garrett Wilson out. The game is tied. We are not playing against the defending Super Bowl champions here. We’re not down by 30. Why are we going for in a fourth and medium? That is not fourth and short. Fourth and inches, okay, you can kind of sell me on it. Fourth in one, okay, fourth and two, I probably don’t agree with it, but okay, it’s not, you know, egregious. Fourth and five, and you’re in field goal range. Nick Folk, by the way, has been perfect on the season. Oh, field goals don’t win games. No, points win games, and the Jets struggle to score points. This is not the AFC Championship where you can’t settle for field goals going up against Mahomes. No, this is a midseason game with a a team that is not good on the road in the Carolina Panthers. They’re coming to your stadium. Yeah, points the lead. That sounds like a good idea for me. I’m kicking the field goal there. And no, this is not some sort of hindsight 2020 thing. I mean, how the Jets handled the um end of the first half also egregious. Like, come on. What do we what are we doing? Look back at last week. It And again, it makes you ask serious questions about this coaching staff. like are you actually learning from your mistakes? Because offensively in certain situations it just doesn’t look much better. Now again, Steve Wilks, this defense, it’s looking more and more in sync. I really love what I’m seeing on this defensive uh side of the football, but look, the Jets aren’t going to win a lot of games when you cannot do anything on the offense side. I I don’t know. I I just I absolutely hate going to Tyrod Taylor and not having a plan. Just launching the ball down the field like you’re an FCS school playing against Alabama just trying to All right. Well, you know, let’s who who knows what’s going to happen. Let’s just keep on launching it down the field. Launching it down the field. Something might happen. I mean, it’s a like this is a professional team and okay, Garrett Wilson’s not out there. We knew this for a week. We didn’t have a plan for it. Did Brandon Smith play? Did Skinner play? Young guys that actually could show something. Young guys that impressed in the preseason. We know what we’re getting from Lazard. Why is he out there? Let’s at least roll the dice a little bit. Row and seven. Let’s get the young guys involved. So, it’s pretty obvious that the Jets are the worst team in football. And I’ll probably just leave it there. So yeah, let me know also too down below in the um comment section if you want to start running up those mock drafts, right? It’s Halloween about the time that we start, you know, cracking, you know, uh breaking out the mocks every single season. It’s such a damn disappointment. And again, I wasn’t expecting this team to get nine wins, eight wins, 10 wins. I was thinking six. And yes, of course, on paper that’s still doable, but I mean 0 and seven, 13 to six to the Carolina Panthers. Another Sunday, another loss. Let me know your thoughts. And as always, go Jets.

The New York Jets lose to the Carolina Panthers 13-6. Another horrendous loss for Aaron Glenn, Justin Fields and the Jets. The offense was abysmal once again and they’re are some serious questions that need to be asked about the coaching staff. As always..Go Jets!

  1. I just feel bad for our talent like Quinnen, Garrett, Breece, Sherwood and a few other players. These dudes deserve so much better than the jets, especially Quinnen. I’m 33 and idk if I could ever switch teams but there’s no way I can continue to root for this franchise. The fans need to seriously stop going to the games. Woody has to go

  2. "What are we doing" EXACTLY. Even this week, at the end of the first, they just gave up with a timeout left. No hail Mary pass, no try for a field goal. Nothing. It's the lack of effort for me…

  3. And another thing if we're truly trying to tank there's not no real quarterback from what I heard that is a generational quarterback

  4. 49er fan here, I vote that the Jets be disaffiliated and whatever assets they have go to building a new team with competent ownership somewhere else (St. Louis, Orlando, maybe a city in Canada?)
NYC will at least have the Giants (and the Bills who actually are based in the state) who are much more watchable.

  5. If only the Jets had a veteran hall of fame QB able to offset a rookie head coach while he doesn't have a clue what he's doing. Oh well… No point dreaming about something that will never happen, is there?!

  6. Wasn't sure if I was going to respond to the shade you've thrown at my team. We may not be sb contenders this year but we're still playing better ball than the Jets. Ya ll are straight up cursed. Try prayer.❤
