So, how was going on good morning? It was it was great. Uh good opportunity um you know to talk to different people. Um you know it’s always a blessing to talk to different people, meet new people um super early after a late game. So, but you know it was it was great. Um I say it was great. But for you I guess like how now how do you obviously you had a hell of a game the other night, but now it’s like that’s in the past. Now it’s like you got a new game in front of that. It’s like how do you kind of reset the uh for me it’s just building blocks you know um just trying to take steps in the right direction um learn from the film like I was just watching film just now I’m just learning knowing team tendencies know what they do I mean I say it’s just a steady progression that’s all it is steady progression I I played one NBA game and you know that don’t determine who I am as a player you know so just continue building what’s the best way with you guys as guards, your jar, excuse me, to to kind of match your your style of play, the way you guys like to get up and down the floor, you know, with with with Joe style of play. We all, you know, I’m still learning everybody um in the in the NBA actual game setting. I’m still learning everybody. I’m a rook. I’m still learning everybody. Um and they all learning how to play with me on the floor. Um but you know, nobody’s style play is changing at all. um with Joe on the floor. Like I said, we haven’t seen a full uh you know, Joe played what, like 18 minutes last game, you know, so we know it’s going to be different, but like I said, it’s gonna be better for us. It’s gonna be better for the team, man. Um he’s so good. He’s just so good at basketball. And Tyrese, St. K, and Jiren so good at basketball, you know? They make the game easy. Um so I said, we all just going to play off of each other. You know, we all compliment each other. So yeah, you you and Tyrese clearly both in a zone during that game. I’m curious is that is that like the best that you and a teammate have ever been going in the same game in your experience? I mean, yeah. I mean, you had 40 points. I mean, so yeah, that’s I would say that’s the best. Definitely. I would say that’s the best. What What is Sorry. No, you’re good, man. You’re good. You ask your question. You’re good. What is it like to be on the floor with him when he’s in the middle of one of those heaters? Man, it’s so crazy. I was actually watching, man. He started I was watching from the bench. I’m like, yeah. Yeah. I just realized how like how good he is, man. He’s really good. Um and say being able to have a teammate like that, man. Um it helped me, you know, and I wasn’t expecting to have wide open shots like that, like super wide open. He like I said, he requires so much attention. Um so, man, he’s he’s good and he’s only getting better. EJ tomorrow play one of the other top five picks in the class and Keniples uh first time to play one of these guys from your class like that. Is there anything extra for you to prepare yourself, prove yourself against guys in your draft class or every game kind of the same? No, every game is the same, man. I want you I don’t I’m not looking at them as I’m not trying to compare myself, man. That’s a comparison to thief of joy, man. So, I’m trying to be happy on the floor. I’m trying to have fun. I’m not I’m not worried about like, you know, a certain player on the floor. You know, they have they’re they’re a team full of good players. Oh, man. my main goal is just going there and wait to be honest. Um, you know, that’s the main thing for me. I I I don’t I don’t compare myself to to no other draft picks um or anything like that. Is there anything specific from that film that you’re focused on or trying to do better moving forward? Uh just regular just regular stuff how how to read the floor. That’s the main thing. Just seeing things before it happened, knowing where where defenders are, um knowing what other teams like to do, knowing tendencies. So that’s the main thing I study. I know you’ve been around Don Mc Barlo a lot. You guys were, you know, Disneyland together and all that. So I guess how much has all that helped, you know, for on opening night when things are, you know, he’s playing big minutes when he’s even closing the game at the five. How much does that kind of camaraderie help? No, it helps a lot. Um Dom is a a really good player, really versatile player. Also something against Chester floor, something like so attack the rim, offensive rebound, he does all little things. Um and credit to Don, man. I I see him in here every day. He’s working hard. He’s always, you know, working hard every day. Um, so I know he know he know what he’s doing well. Um, the team know what he’s doing well. He know what he needs to do. So, yeah. Thank you. What kind of fan reaction have you gotten since Wednesday night? Has it been different just in the past couple days? Uh, so nobody really seeing me. I’ve been in my house. I haven’t been out far as I go to my car and you know my windows are tinted so you can’t see if that’s me or not. Are you anticipating when you do go out eventually? Yeah. Yeah. Um because you know, even before the season, they were showing love to you. Um and you know, like I said, I just want to keep getting better. So, you know, the city’s happy. That’s the main thing. We want to win, man. That’s that’s the main goal for us. I mean, I guess it I’m sure you’re excited just to get in front of the home crowd, but do you feel any of that though? Like the anticipation after you had that big night and and the win that the fans are maybe like a little bit more juiced up than maybe they would have been otherwise, man. To be honest, man, I I know Philly fans are are passionate. So, you know, I’m expecting every game to be like that. Even if I had a good game or not, I was expecting it to be like that. So, um you know, like I say, man, you know, just credit to the fans for just showing love to the city, showing love to the sports teams, man. That’s the main thing, you know, we all just try to have a connection with the fans. Um, you know, we’re we’re regular people, you know, we’re regular people all the same. So, that’s just having a connection with the fans, you know, means a lot. Thank you, BJ. A prophet.
