The Saddest Moment in MLB History 😢
This is one of the most emotional moments in baseball history when an entire team left their hats on the mound to say goodbye to their fallen teammate. It was September 26th, 2016. The Miami Marlins had just lost their star pitcher Jose Fernandez in a tragic accident. Jose wasn’t just good, he was electric. a 24-year-old phenom, two-time all-star, a Cuban refugee who had already become the heart and soul of the Marlins. He was supposed to be the future of baseball, and most teams would have cancelled the game. But the Marlins played for him. Every player wore his number 16, and the stadium felt different that night. It wasn’t just another game, it was a goodbye. First pitch of the night, D. Gordon steps in right-handed for one pitch to honor Jose. switches back and launches a home run, his only one that season. Tears, goosebumps, the Marlins went on to win the game. And after the final out, the players walked to the mound together. One by one, they took off their hats and placed them on the mound, Jose’s mound, a tribute to their brother, their friend, in a moment bigger than baseball that we still think about to this day.

Cocaine is a killer
José Fernández, died in a boating accident on when his boat crashed into a jetty off the coast of Miami Beach. The crash also killed two other men, Emilio Macias and Eduardo Rivero. An investigation concluded that Fernández was operating the boat at high speed, was under the influence of alcohol and cocaine, and was killed by the impact of the crash.
The angels also did something similar for skags
Rip
It makes me wonder, did Bartolo Colon throw him a meatball on purpose? 🤔
No team is canceling a game in the pros to much money involved
Cocaine and liquor 🤦🏼♂️
