The Sixers coming off their 11716 season opening win over the Boston Celtics in their last matchup while Charlotte blitz the Brooklyn Nets 13617. And I think it’s going to take a little while to sort of just find out what these teams are because Charlotte, you know, this is a young team that when healthy looks like it’s got a lot of upside, a lot of potential, but again, they played the Brooklyn Nets in their opener who couldn’t stop a nose bleed in that game and who I still think are going to be one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference this season despite the fact I think that they will be a competitive and profitable underdog in spots. But Charlotte, you know, you had Conan come through with, you know, 11 points in his debut, three threes. You know, LaMelo Ball was solid. Brandon Miller was great. You know, you had a total of uh uh nine players score in double figures in that game. 10 players saw the floor for the Charlotte Hornets. Only one didn’t get in double figures score. That just shows you the balance that the Charlotte Hornets had in that game. But now I think they’re going to be up against it here against the Philadelphia 76ers team. It did look good against Boston. Now, when I say that I want to find out what both these teams are, I’m saying that in the sense that, you know, Philadelphia was playing a short-handed Boston team. It’s obviously still without Jason Tatum. They did have Jaylen Brown. They did have Derek White and, you know, some of their their key pieces that are going to be rolling forward this season. But what I think was very impressive for Philly was that they did everything that they did with Joel Embiid, excuse me, Joel Embiid shooting just one for nine in that game, 4.6 rebounds. I doubt VJ Edgecom is going to have another 34-point game here, but he was outstanding in his debut. 34 and seven. Tyrese Maxi put up a 40 spot, you know, with seven threes, six assists. It was just an all-around solid effort from Philadelphia. And like I said, while I do think that the Charlotte Hornets have more upside, I think that the Philadelphia 76ers are going to be a team that you have to watch this season because they’re I think going to be out to just get rid of the bad taste in that was left in their mouths from how last season went with all the injuries and the losses that followed. I think this is this that was just a you know just a down year for them where like I said injuries played a role and everything but you know now that this team is back healthy again they’re just out to sort of make amends for what was a lost year last year and I just think that this is a you know between these two teams I think I trust the Philadelphia 76ers more like I know what they are more than what I know the Charlotte Hornets are who just like I said dismantled what I feel is a bad uh Brooklyn Nets team. So, I’m going to roll with the Philadelphia 76ers at home in this one, and that’s going to be my free pick.
