In true Canadian style they were nicer about it as they said “We don’t need him” as opposed to making it more personal with “We don’t need YOU”.

I was there and it was weird. Awesome, but also weird.
The differences include the fact that Ohtani never played for Toronto and never said “Do not trade me”. Maple Leafs suck
