NHL Highlights | Flames vs. Jets | October 24, 2025

forwards for the Jets against the Cadri line.
Flurry and Pon together and away we go from Canada Life Center. Knocked down. Good play on
the far boards by Frost who has it and gives it to Perez Cadry to Car back for Frost. Cadry
one-time and he scores. A heavy blast by Cadri. A power play goal and it’s one- nothing Calgary.
It took a laser and this was perfectly placed from Cadri to won 11 straight power play opportunities
over the last two plus games without finding the back of the net. But this is crisp. This is
excellent puck movement and it’s always dangerous when a team can move the puck and then break a
seam right through the middle of the ice. That’s one that the penalty kill will look at and try to
solve. You want to I wonder if that’s something that even crosses their mind. They’ll never admit
it, but nonetheless it’s a big deal. Correct. Threw it to in front of the net. Loose puck.
Hanley shoots. He ring it off the iron and pick those up and out of play. Two straight crossbarss
for Calgary. Flames making a threeperson change. Shley drop pass. Connor faked one of his
own. Kyle Connor shot rebound. Shley with a backhander and Wolf made the save from Coleman.
And then it’s Shely that enters the zone and good evasive maneuvers from Connor. Shoots it from a
sharp angle and it’s a good move threw it to the front was there. His shot attempt was blocked and
the Jets get the clock back. Morsy accepts that pass. Two on one coming two on two rather. Nice
move by Josh Morrisy. He comes in. Conor scores ties it in one. Four on four for 44. This is
just brilliant. Look at the way Morsy prances around McKenzie Wager. That’s not easy to do.
And he turns a twoon two to a twoon one. Look at the eyes. He’s licking shot. He’s showing
shot and a no look pass into the strike zone for Kyle Connor. Yeah, he displayed a lot of
what Josh Morrisy is all about in that one play. Gather the puck without breaking stride,
mobility at work. He’s hitting pass. T scores his first as a Winnipeg champ here at Canada Life Center in his second round of
the season and it’s two to one. A clean faceoff win and we were just talking about
Josh and his mobility on Q. Face off strike from Taves and Josh Morsy skating downhill. Look at
Taves. He shows his straight to the net. So he goes into the crease unimpeded. Does he make
contact or get in the way of Dustin Wolf? I think if they’re unsure that they always side
with the goalender on these ones. Oh boy. Oh, after Calgary’s challenge for goalie interference,
the call on the ice stands goal. Good goal. Shley to Nyquist at the line. Shoots.
It’s blocked. It goes right to Moresy. Fans really come to the light now. Morsy
fires and a heavy shot. He missed. Back attempt by Ayafalo. He’ll move it immediately to
Ayafalo who backs it up. Morsy to Valardi. Back for Josh Moresy. Shley threw it through.
Valardi with a quick back and he scores. There it is. The first of the season for
Gabriel Valardi and it’s three to one. Well, one thing that doesn’t surprise
you at all is where this goal comes from. This is where Gabriel Valardi
does some of his best work. Nice job, I follow to be a disruption and then good
timing to arrive at the right time. Valardi that cuts through the middle of your screen.
I think this one may have surprised. Six and a half to go in the second. Valardi gets a stick
on it. Gabriel Valardi steps to the net centering pass or maybe trying to backhand it past Wolfe
but he gave it to Jonathan Taves. I’m sure he feels great about being able to play with Taz as
a youngster. Speaking of Chibriovac Nicole open is Packlin walking in. Packlin scores. Nice moves
by Packlin. And once again it’s a onegoal game. Yeah, a good read defensively here from the
Calgary Flames. It was a little chip play from low to high from Cave trying to find Miller
and Bland skates onto a puck that was jarred loose right from the defensive zone and then
the Flames get going the other way. Look at that little backhand pass from Coleman as
he pulls Stanley with him to the outside. That’ll three to two now. Good play by Weer to
knock that out of the air. Cadry takes the puck. He had the game’s first goal. finds Jake Bean.
Shoots off the wing recovery. Rebound makes a good save on Coronado as the Flames get to the
front of the goal. Valardi threw it toward the end boards. Gabriel Valardi finds it at the
hash marks. Sets it up. Conor quick release now. Shot right on. Working against Miller. He
tried to cycle it. Hit the ref. Zary keeping it from Gibbreov. Now a shot by Fabby Ren. Rebound.
Zary is stopped. Stays on his feet. got a skate on it in front of the boards and Connor backhand
pass trying to shovel it through to Shley the big looking for another power play goal. Shley down
to Valardi out front. He sets it up and scores. A sublime pass from Valardi and Ayaf’s goal makes
it 42 of Gabriel Valardi. You cannot predict what he’s going to do. He He can shoot it. He can fire
it to the back post or he can make a pass just like that. This is just brilliant. I think this
might be Josh Morsy’s fourth point of this period. What a great play from Valardi. And to be able to
discipline put the Jets to the power play. This is their sixth power play coming up by the way
for Jets in two seconds. And now Valardi looking for Connor Sh. Valardi in front. Originally it was
Shley who threw it to the front of the net and got it to Connor. Throws it rick wide shot just missed
glove side. It was taken by the captain. Backlin he’s got it again. Calgary threatening to make it
a onegoal game once more. Ball off the skate of Blanders behind it and out front. They score.
Coven left unchecked and it’s four to three. make a mistake. This is a good job from the
Flames where they kind of hem the top line in defensively after these guys spent so much time
in the offensive zone. I think they were out of gas. They didn’t have much left in the tank. And a
beautiful pass from Backland who gets to that puck first. And uh-oh, a little bit of puck watching
there. And Blake Coleman gets his third goal of the season. This is fished out by Connor. Cadry
has it back to the line. Clapka to the ball. Over knocked down the front. Big rebound Anderson.
Penalty coming up to the Jets in Unison calling for the power play. They get it. Oh, look how
close that one glances off of the ear. Maybe a chance. A breakaway shorthanded. Cole Key alone
shot stopped by Wolf. Oh, Key could have put it away there you would think. If now Cadry and
McKenzie Wager, can the Jets finish this one off? Weaguer to Cadry shot. Sharon goish. It just
got away from him. Emptied in Mexico scores. He didn’t miss that one. Vlad domestic 53. Vlad domestic on his second opportunity
at the empty net. A shot attempt from Codri. The Jets find a way to get in front
of it. block it and into the hand. His third of the season. It was questionable for a
while would the Jets be able to hang on, but they did. They’re back in the wind
column and they beat the Flames 5-3.

  1. Wolf is the most overrated goalie. He's weaker than the matchstick he resembles.
He complains his team doesn't score goals but he didn’t do HIS job tonight when the team finally scores x 3.
The whole Flames organization got beguiled by this guy.
