Jonathan Toews’ First Goal On Jets Home Ice Stands After Review

The Flames lots to feel good about so far. They they’ve played extremely well. You’re going to have some mishaps against the Jets. That one deflects in past Wol. Tames was in front. He’s got his second. Both against the Flames. And it’s right off a faceoff for the Jets. Good things happen when you win clean draws. Morris is going to come down and throw that towards the front of the net. Jonath is going to get inside position and that’s the key here. Morrisy comes down and it’s a nothing play at the front of the net and Ball who usually has a great stick. He breaks up so many plays just doesn’t get on the inside and because of that Tab is able to tip that in. It looks like they’re going to It looks like they’re going to challenge this John. Well, they’re taking a quick look. Is using their coach’s challenge to determine if there was goender interference prior to the goal. Blue paint. And you see it right there. There’s the initial contact with the top of the pad. I think Calgary’s got a good chance of winning this. It’s one thing if you’re pushed in there and you’re battling, but he goes in there right away to get away from Kevin Ball. And because he does that, he contacts the pad. It’ll be interesting to see what happens. Jamie Pringle, Andrew Dodie in that department for the Flames. See if they’ve got one. After Calgary’s challenge for goalie interference, the call on the ice stands. Goal game. Yeah, unfortunate play. You you just never know on these calls which way it’s going to go.

Watch as Winnipeg Jets forward Jonathan Toews scores his first goal on his team’s home ice after the tally was upheld following a review for goaltender interference.
