Trevin Wallace on facing Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense | Carolina Panthers

Aan Robinson, as much love, deservedly so, as Derek gets. What does what does Aan bring to this unit? And and and what has he sort of taught you in in his experience? Uh Asan taught me everything, you know, after every like I feel like every game he come talk to me like, hey, bring your best. Like, come on, you know the standard. Like he always come to me and like just give me that confidence boost like, hey, come on, you know the standard. You know what we got to do or like sometimes we just step up and he look me in my eyes like okay like hey like I know I got his stress. I know I got stress. I think what year 10, year nine or 10? So you up there and having that confidence, confidence and trust for him means a lot. Guys are leaning into the old on Asan, aren’t they? Uh as your uh as Nick was saying, uh Josh Allen, they’ve got a nickname for him. I think it’s the I think he said it was the white Moses. What do you Yeah, I don’t think that’s accurate. Nonetheless, Josh Allen is the quarterback of choice this week for them. What does he look like and how does that offense go with him? Well, I think everybody know he was a reigning MVP last year and everybody know what he is and who he is as a person as a football player and all. Like that’s generational talent. He’s a great quarterback. So that’s somebody right there you got to be hon with his legs or throw the ball. So he’s a great quarterback. The way that they run that offense, it’s very groundheavy. Another sounds like a heavy lift week for the defense as well to slow those guys down. I think they the number one rushing rushing team in the league. So you know that’s a big thing for a stop and a run. I think that’s a good going to that game like knowing that the number one team so we know they’re going to run the ball and like see what we can do against them. How much do you relish this challenge though? I mean you had the Cowboys that were a top three offense and now you got the Bills and everybody’s talking about the Bills in the Super Bowl. Like you got to love having them here and having this opportunity on Sunday. I think you know like I said that’s a challenge that we want you know because you want to go out there and like prove people hey we can stick with the best. Like we can go out there and stick with any team out there that put the ball down the place in front of us. So know that’s a challenge for us. You know, kudos to the Bills cuz the Bills is a great team and you know, we want to go out there and show people like, hey, you know, we got three wins. You know, obviously the conference is there, but we’re going to go out there and still execute. Getting a lot of positive attention for the way that they play at home. What role do Panthers fans in the crowd play into that? A lot. You know, like I said, they’re loud that could less that can help us mess up the quarterback cadence or stuff like that. Just come out there and be loud and just be yourself because that give us energy boost. Trevan, when you look at that rushing attack like that, number one in the league, James Cook driving the bus. Uh, but what kind of a back is he? What makes him stand out? He’s an elusive back. I feel like people like don’t give him the credit because I feel like he runs real hard. Despite being like the smaller size running back, he runs real hard. And like that’s one running back I know. Like although he’s small and I’m big guy, like that’s runner. Like I’m like, “Hey, if he run at me, like he got a lot of chance of running me over cuz he he runs hard and he’s very elusive.” So he’s a great running back. [Music] about
