Kirk Tober is back. Both ESPN and The Athletic are reporting that Kirk Cousins is highly likely to start Sunday for the Falcons at quarterback against the Miami Dolphins in place of injured quarterback Michael Penn. And Falcons head coach Raheem Morris gave assurances that he felt good about Penn’s status to play this Sunday all week long. But he did also say that Kurt Cousins took increasing amount of practice reps as the week wore on, suggesting that Pennix’s status after suffering a bone bruise to his knee late in last week’s loss to the 49ers was still bothering him, leading to a questionable designation. Based off the latest, it sounds like he’s gone from questionable to out. But given it is the last Sunday in October, it means Kirktober is back at least one more time.   1. Would be good to let the rookie rest a little while and heal up so he can come back strong and fix whatever BS he got going on with our coaches cause I can tell he ain’t too happy about play calling….. with Kirk Cuzin starting, we probably win the next three games

  5. This is the best thing that could happen to us. Kirk is a better QB right now. Penix may be good one day. But Kirk is an above average QB with experience to not throw pick 6 on swing routes. This is great for us.

  6. Penix has not looked confident. Like in college he throws some incredibly off target balls randomly to short or intermediate. But he’s really not been given any opportunities to do what he does best which is throw it deep. It’s the one thing I had no doubt he could do incredibly well coming out of college, over 52% completions over 30 yards or around there without looking it up, which is a great number, then never gets a chance to even do that this year. His accuracy with mid to short throws have always been not great.

Penux is the only one having issues with zacs offense , cousins will prove yet again its not a problem with the OC but penux inability to execute an offense at the NFL level , if penux plays he will lose to one of the worste teams in the league at this point and his confidence level goes down even further and the wasted draft pick is exposed even further need to hide him on a bench and give him a clipboard b4 people with lower IQs and common sense figure out how big of a bust he really is and fontenut is handed his walking papers like rahh3m the dream 😂😂😂
