The most DANGEROUS offense of the Mahomes era is here… 👀
So, this might be the most dangerous offense the Chiefs have ever had in the Patrick Mahomes era. Now, to be clear, I’m going off a sevengame sample size for this year and comparing it to a full season of 2018, the year when Mahomes went for 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns. And don’t get me wrong, the threeheaded monster of prime Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, and Sammy Watkins was absolutely electric. And then you had Kareem Hunt also in his prime in the backfield, though we know the team ended up cutting ties with them in November of that season. Honestly, that’s the only thing keeping me from being 100% matterof fact about this 2025 offense being more dangerous. The lack of a true complete dynamic running back in the back field. But Pacheco’s been playing better. Kareem Hunt is an absolute cheat code in short yardage situations. And Bashard Smith is getting more integrated into this offense. I mean, think about it. The Chiefs offense has been without worthy for essentially three games and have only had Rice back for one and are still averaging 32 points per game over the last month. And so far this season, they are scoring on 52.3% of their drives, which is roughly a half% behind where they were in 2018 as an offense. It helps that Mahomes is facing the least pressure allowed of any quarterback in the NFL this season thanks to that offensive line. And he might be throwing to the deepest group of pass catchers he’s ever had. You’ve got Xavier Worthy in year two, and he’s much more than just a deep threat, but Thornton is a lethal deep threat. Hollywood Brown is no slouch. You’ve got Kelsey looking more agile than last year. Guju’s healthier than he’s been in years. And of course, the return of Rashi Rice only adds more fuel to the fire. Our wide receivers are one of the if not the best Mahomes has had in his career. Things are about to heat up and I’m so ready for it.

Mahomes could barely read a defense in 2018 and the NFL wasn't ready for the young goat at that time. Its TBD but id say 25>18 CLOSE
Luckily they don't need to be as good as they were in 2018. I'd take the team with an experienced Mahomes over a young one any day of the week
