Jackson still a big upgrade over the dogshit we’ve been starting last several years. and overall the trajectory of RT-LG seems to continue pointing up
hoping for average LT play by midseason (and better than that next year). that’s achievable and a DAMN good OLine overall

Every time someone shits on Poles you gotta remember the Thuney deal. Thuney wasn’t even on the market. Everyone was all in on Trey Smith. KC wouldn’t budge. Poles found a way to use his relationships with KC to pivot to Thuney and snagged him. The entire NFL was shocked that was even a possibility.
Not only has his performance been incredible, but his leadership is invaluable in building up a basically brand new OLine
Literally haven’t heard his name once this season. Incredible
Jonah’s pass pro has been pretty sus so far, but his run blocking has shown signs of life over the last few weeks. Hopefully, he continues to improve as the o-line builds more chemistry

Honestly super crucial to have him in there considering how bad our LT situation has gotten
You can like the Theo story all you want but he has very ugly moments in pass protection and isn’t ready to face the better pass rushers
So it really helps that Thuney is completely locking it down next to him
Thuney and D.Wright are really great pieces to have
The greatest compliment I can give him is I have almost never heard his name mentioned by commentators in a game
Thuney trade is lowkey Poles best move of his tenure

This is only because Thuney is playing next to future HOF’er Theo Benedet.
He’s really, really helped our line. But going from complete dog shit to average was still a step in the right direction

Sean McVay really messed up the Jackson signing and then dumped him a year later to the Bears. I don’t think he is better than what we’ve had hence lower left for Jackson.
Still wish Trey Smith reached FA even at 23M APY.
Who would have thought picking up an offensive lineman on a Hall of Fame track would be a good idea.
