  1. With how thin the margins are for the Flames, it is likely that the playoffs are likely already out their reach. They would need to play at a ~104 point pace for the rest of the season to match their 96 point record last season. 

  2. I think this shit is already wrapped up. They’re 1-7-1. They have 8 games over the next two weeks. Even if they go 8-0 (they won’t) they’re 9-7-1 and that’s barreling towards 16th again

  3. Would totally be nice if they pulled the chute before inquiring squads start filling their holes.

  4. Why would they have to wait two weeks? You need to win like 70% of your games from here on out to be in with a chance.

    Obviously don’t be hasty but there should be not part of their minds that thinks this season is “salvageable” in that regard.
