after a team put in such a good effort this whole night. We still come up short. You know what? It hurts. Um we just can’t seem to find a way to get a couple goals to go in the net and um you know, I thought our kill was was good all night. They they made us work and um you know, we want to try to limit the amount of penalties we take. I think that was too much for a group and can’t give a group like that that much time. Where where did the team go from here first? We just got to keep getting pucks to the net. That’s that’s been the message the last couple days is we got to go low to high and pounding pucks. That’s exactly how we scored our goal tonight. And um we got to keep getting traffic in front and putting pucks there. And that’s the game of hockey is um you know, bounces are bound uh to go in at some point. You just got to put pucks there and and do the work to to get rewarded for them. Did this game go a long way uh for you to feel really good about your game? I felt good. I mean, there’s been goals throughout the year that um you know, I don’t like, but at the same time, I’m I’m trying to do my best and uh you you can’t look back anymore. You got to look forward. You got to look forward to tomorrow’s practice, look forward to the game on Wednesday and um you know, keep moving forward. So, you’ll put this one in the review and feel good about it in terms of individual play. But um you know, good wasn’t good enough tonight. Dustin, knowing how tight it was coming down to the wire last season, how frustrating is it to put yourselves in a hole like this this early? Yeah, you don’t want to put yourself in a hole and um know it’s not the ideal scenario by any means, but um if there’s a group that can dig out of it, we just got to keep putting pucks to the net. The goals are bound to come and um know defensively I thought we were solid tonight. We didn’t give them a whole lot and um you know, that’s how we have to play. We have to play low event hockey and find ways to generate some offense and um no the games are going to come. It’s it’s frustrating right now, but um you you got to find a way to get through it. Is is that a positive tonight that it was maybe closer to the sort of brand that this team needs to play to have success? Sure. We have to play a gritty game each and every night. We don’t we don’t have the you know all the skill that a lot of these teams do. We we have the grit. we have the grind and um you know that’s that’s the character and identity we have to play to. We can’t try to stray from it. If we do, we we don’t have success and uh know we have to defend from our our zone out, find ways to generate some offense in the gritty areas of the ice and and kind of go from there.   2. This one definitely hurts or should I say stings… I think I may check out and back off of this team for a while to see if anything changes as I may be watching too closely.

    Penalties are happening at the worst times and defensive breakdowns seem to happen for bizarre reasons outside of what is transpiring on the ice and as much as I love coach Huska, I'm not sure if I like all of these different line variations But if you're moving and you want around please move Farabee off of the 1st as there has got to be someone on this roster who could finish a play or take advantage of a scoring opportunity!

    Wolf had an amazing game but yet another 2 on 1 found its way into the net so Wolf is probably the only one I refuse to blame out of this mess so got to find a way to string a few wins together or this is going to get very bad and for a few years to come!

    Dan Vladar is 10 times your output and faced every top 10 team last year. You faced every shit team and you proved you MIGHT beat the Shorks.

    Wolf is a 2,3 mill backup to Dan Vladar at 3.5……that is 5.8. Flames would be 3-2-1 if DAN PLAYED THE TOP TEAMS LIKE HE DID 82 games last year.

    Game 1? Last. Games 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6….. Last place goalie.

    Dan Vladar got fucked by Conny and overpaid by 6 million on Dusty who claim to fame is…. he beat the Shorks when they lost 4 in a row.
    Then Conny paid him 7.5 for a Dan Vladar beat the top teams and Wolf beat the Shorks season.

    I want 6 million back from this insane contract. In year 3? Wolf will be a 7.5 million Wrangler.
