NHL Highlights | Blues vs. Red Wings | October 25, 2025
They haven’t been able to complete things.
There’s John Gibson back in goal. His last start in Buffalo. Wound up in defeat.
The Red Wings start with JT Comper in the middle. Lights out and kept the light
off. The red light behind him after four nations. Bennington was just outstanding.
Carried in here by Matthew Joseph and a save made rebound. And that shot goes high.
Body around him as Joseph drives the net. perimeter now. Snugaroo up high gets the
return pass top of the left circle. Looks back now for Cam Fowler. This side
for Jordan Kyu. The shot scores. Oh, wicked wister. Power play goal. It’s
one- nothing Blues. didn’t look like uh see Fowler goes back to the pool line and in
the meantime at the same time Jordan Kyu comes to the middle of the ice. Yeah. And it’s a great
shot. I don’t I don’t know that Gibson saw it. His reaction was he did not. Yeah. He had Benrot in
front of him. He had Casper in front of him. Boy, right up by the ears. Mick. Oh yeah. Well, they
don’t right now. to Brinket looking for his first goal. Went off the lay. Kyru now on a six-game
point streak. Tipped loose front of net. Oh, and off the post and then failing to get
past Evansson was Robert Thomas. But on comes Snugaroo. That goes off a lane. Backhanded
behind by Neighbors. Neighbors for Snugaroo. In comes Fault and they score. threw it to the
net and deflected in and the Blues have a two nothing lead. Neighbors in front. Well, when
you spend this much time in your own zone, good things aren’t going to happen normally.
Nothing to go there. And then Faulk. What a heads up play. What a heads up play that was. You
see Neighbors in front with the stick firmly on the ice. Easy tap in for St. Lewis to take a
two nothing lead with Larkin and Van Ramstuck. Shen makes the pass over. Good save. Rebound
and just over top of the net. Braden Shen and brother Luke. Look out. And a chance
just wide. Snugaroo with the opportunity. Spinning away. Pavo Buchavic.
Five seasons with the Rangers. Now his fifth with the Blues. Tipped in front
and he scores. Wow. Just the man we spoke of. Pavo Buchavic gets his second goal. Both on the
power play. Planned play. No question about that. They just play catch with it here for
the moment. And they go to the slot and it’s redirected again. If it hits
the goalender, that’s great. If not, it’s in the back of the net and it’s straight
up. All the confidence in this game right now. They were two and 0 on the road coming
in. And another one right there. Boy, Jake Neighbors has his second of the
night. His sixth of the season already. Somebody all alone with the goalender. Three guys on the puck. That’s
all she wrote. Five hole makes it four nothing and Todd Mlullen seen enough. Called the timeout. Doing his best as neighbors
to get into the play. Then it’s cleared ahead and it’s a break for Jimmy Snugaroo. He’s in the
clear all alone. Big stop there. Not even a snip. Caught on the wing for Francard for Axel
Sandine Pelica. Scores. Barren buries it. Power play goal. It’s four to one. And one
into the far side to Barren. He gets his second in two games. It could have gone
right here to JVR. And they go over here. And a quick release off the hip
of the goender Hennington and Bernard Docker from center. Raymond goes in there
against Paul. Scores. What a feat from Benny. It’s four to two. There you go. And the puck ends up in the back
of the net. Wow. See Larkin goes in behind. Finny goes to the front.
Takes a funny bounce. I don’t know when it went off and ends up in the
back of the net. Larkens point. Well, will Larkin’s point streak continue? They may
rule that that the Blues played it for the rookie. Puck is loose. Just down by two.
Hammin shot scores. It’s a onegoal game. Really? Four to three. Comfort in front. Just enough to mess up the goalender
and just enough to stay below the illegal height. Wow. Two goals 27 seconds
apart. Yeah, it’s crossbar height when it his shot toward the goal got blocked and an
attempt there loose in front for Barren and down is Bennington after the lark and shot was
stopped twist for neighbor picked off the Brinks away. Three Blues are back. Three on three. The
Brink crossing with Casper firing scores. Oh my, what a time for the cat to hit the back of the
net. It’s 44. His first of the season overdue. Shot attempt. He finally gets it to
go tonight. And the reason it was, he’s got Menon moving to his left. He goes back
to the right over the pad under the blocker. Boy, oh boy. Oh yeah, he’s surprised him
going back to that short. Pop plays one across. Fair back his way. Comper’s got
it. Edmonson scores. Simon Edmonson. Oh, his first career goal came against the Blues and
he’s got the go-ahad goal here tonight. Chapers, this shot, does it hit the hip of the defenseman
or the forward? It may have hit Shen on the way to the net and all the good saves and the good
luck St. Louis had in the first half of this game has completely dissipated. Oh yeah, right
off his right hip and Venon’s got to be going seriously. Kyu back to Fowler for Dylan Holloway.
Fowler to Holloway. They play catch the shot. Oh, and just deflected and wide for the empty
net for Edmonson. Scores. Simons says 64 lead from a four nothing deficit here
at home on backto backs with the Blues. This turned out to be a huge
comeback. Dinka gets on the board. Edmonson is normal Edmonson after the last
two games. Boy, oh boy, what a comeback. But they came all the way back to win it
six to four to head on the road for five.

All it takes is a pep talk from the Toddfather
Detroit Red Wings is now my favorite hockey team because Detroit, Michigan makes me think of Iran 🇮🇷 because of comic book characters Spawn and Astaroth in Soul Calibur.
Hope Detroit can eliminate Toronto and Florida from the Altantic division.
Hope to see Detroit become Stanley Cup Champions again like 2008.
Good win red wings 🏒👏💯
I love being a blues fan
after it was 4-0 i had pretty much given up hope. Alls it takes is one
What a comeback. Shows a lot of mental fortitude…. Huge win.
An insane game!
Best game o the year
Now that’s Red Wings hockey
Glad they kept Gibson in. He needs to keep his confidence
After losing the the islanders 7-2 and the sabres 4-2 we needed this but the comeback 4-0 down was special what a game 12 pts on the year now let’s go to the blues home and take another 2 pts from them
I shut it off when it was 2-0 in the first period and only having 4 SOG. Guess I can't watch anymore cause if I do they lose.
Well at least with the way the cardinals lost to the titans a few weeks ago, this is the worst pro sports team collapse for a loss in a game this year. It’s just the second worse
The Cardiac Kids
Color commentator doesn't sound good. Is he okay?
These are your fathers red wings
Mickey sounds sick???🤒
Was there some sort of a curse broken here? Feels like it.
After tonight's total meltdown the Blues don't even deserve participation trophy's.
6 unanswered is cold 🥶
What a temperamental team.. weird
YYYEEEERRRRRR LGRW 🐙🏒🤘
Mickey needs a ricola!
Great comeback by the Red Wings, and, utter disappointment for us Blues Fans–tale of two games in one, fun to watch tho, I absolutely love this sport, and i watch all the highlights of all the games. At 66 years old, it's all I got to keep me feeling young at heart.
Mickey needs to be pulled off broadcast with that voice
The Detroit Red Wings .. 🐙💪
Good rally Red Wings.
Now avoid doing whatever this was leading up to the rally again.
The Blues had the honor of playing two teams this night: The Dead Wings & The Fed Up Wings
Great effort by both teams! (Or… all three?)
