  8. I remember seeing this in 1988 at the dollar movie because my grandma took me because I did so well in reading in school. To me at the time, I didn't know the lore of Howard and just laughed at damn near most scenes. This movie laid the groundwork for me getting into the comics as you stated earlier. Loved it then and love it now.

  10. Fans who are only there if you win are often called "bandwagon fans". These fans support a team or person when they are successful but may not have been there during times of struggle.

  11. As a lifelong Jets fan myself I feel that kid’s pain. I have been watching and rooting for this miserable team for nearly 40 years 38 to be exact and I have been through so much misery as a fan that I have become numb to it.

  15. As a Bengals fan I understand his pain. I got a lot of respect for him still sticking by his team a lot of people nowadays don't stick by the team they choose.

  16. Stick with them young man. I have been a Colts fan my entire life. I went through the late 70’s and the 80’s pulling for the Colts. I died a figurative slow death almost every weekend of football season. They finally started turning it around in the 90’s. Sticking with a team when they’re down builds character. Good luck.
