[Fairburn] Lindy Ruff said Colten Ellis was supposed to start tonight against the Leafs. The Sabres even sent him up early on Friday so he would be rested and ready to go. He woke up and had some back tightness, and the Sabres didn’t want to push it.

UPL was totally raw. Face it, he had almost no prep to step into an NHL game. I’m still not not sure he’s the real deal but I want to see him play a few games for this team.
