He’s got to find a way to get his game and get back on track. Scores. They bend, but they don’t break here. James, this is a 200T play. When you take care of business in your own end, it ends up going the other way. It is something that coaches look for how you defend, how you can turn pucks over and get going north. Wolf is there as we’re about to drop the power play unit back out onto the ice for another opportunity. They haven’t scored on the power play as of yet here, James. But if they’re able to capitalize, get on the board, guess what? The numbers go up pretty quickly. Score and confirmed. Go into the big piece of this shot here. James has got to make this save. Unfortunately, it trickles in. He’s not going to like it. They’ll want that one back. The Black Hawk style up exactly what they needed a goal here in the third. A lot of push back right now at the latter half of the third period and you know that the coach is going to make some adjustments. You want to have the opportunity to get your star gifted creative offensive players out there when you need to get an equalizer. Well, this game looks like it’s going right down to the wire, James. And one of the most important things to do now is make sure you make good blue line decisions. Keer has been a difference maker tonight here, James. And if you look at the sequence of saves, making the ones that you have to, right, the timeliness of it, finding ways to keep the puck out, and that just infuses confidence throughout the entire group, and you can often see it then the next shift after a big save past the midway mark of the frame. Los Angeles gains a hold of possession. Picked up along the wall by Dowy. Hugs the boards through the neutral zone. Well, you’re leading late in the game. You’ve got to find a way to kill the clock. You know what the best thing is to do? Make sure it’s not in your zone. That takes the pressure off. And that’s a smart dump right there. He takes the puck into the corner of the offensive end. The Kings gain control of the puck. Under a minute to play in this Dandy breakaway and that chance goes arrive. Well, yeah. And it’s tough here, James. I mean, you know, you’re in all alone and there’s a lot of pressure when you’re on a breakaway. You’ve done all the work to get to that spot and a lot of the time you can overthink it. Looks like he just missed the trigger finger on this one. Here in the later stages of this period, the Kings are giving their fans something to cheer about as they lead it 3-2. I mean, at this time of the game, you have to find a way to get the puck out. You’re under a lot of pressure. You got to be aware of everyone and where they are on the ice and you get the clear. Great play. The net is empty. A big draw here looking inside the offensive end. LA’s won the draw. And that’ll do it for right side here. Well, after an absolute volcanic eruption in the first offensively, it kind of settled down here, Cheryl. More to your style, I would say. Right. As a defender. Yeah, as a defender, it became more defensively structured. And I bet that the coaches had something to say about that, but certainly not as much fun for us. Not as entertaining as the high-flying Octane offense in the first period. And that’ll do it from this one here tonight for all of us at EA Sports. I’m James Sabowski. Good night.
