And all right, guys, we got the Giants on the docket for today. We’re going to break down how they did from a fantasy baseball point in 2025 and what to expect from the team and their players in 2026. So, Rafael Des, as I mentioned up top, has a full season ahead in San Francisco. What do we think about that? Can he still be elite? Uh, you know, Matt Chapman getting a little bit older. Do we still believe in him going into 2026? Hey, listen. Matt and I told you to watch out for Will Thomas was a bit of a bust. Do we think the same for 2026? And then, can Logan Webb anchor your team coming uh into 2026 as an ace? And then we’ll cover the two top prospects for the San Francisco Giants, Bryce Eldridge and Jose Gonzalez. And what do you need to know about those guys? All right, so let’s start at the top. Let’s start with Mr. Raphael Devers, right? Big season, uh, you know, big changes for Denver, you know, uh, for the first time, you know, getting out of Boston in his career, you know, was a lifer there. Uh, and, you know, let’s see, you know, what do we think, you know, on this, uh, the numbers for the season. Uh, it was 90 games over in San Francisco. So, we’ll do San Francisco numbers and then we’ll do the the total, right? So, his 90 games in San Francisco, uh, 335 at bats, 52 runs, 15 doubles, 20 homers, 51 RBI’s. He had 56 walks to 116 strikeouts, and hit .236. Um, played way better um in his time in Boston. Uh, but I will give you the full season numbers. It goes up to a 252 batting average, over 163 games. Uh, you know, got more than a full season in, uh, this year. Divers did uh 607 at bats, 99 runs, 33 doubles, 35 bombs, 109 RBI’s. Honestly, I I think Devers takes a step back going forward. You know, he’s getting a little bit older. You know, he’s will only be 29, so he’s not like out of his, you know, fully out of his prime yet. But I honestly think if I played in like a keeper or dynasty format, I’m trying to work Devers into a trade this off season because I I just don’t think he could be the same guy, you know, in um uh with this team because it’s it’s go it’s going to be it’s going to be tough for him, man. It’s a bigger ballpark. The team isn’t uh the team context isn’t as good. So, I don’t know if he’s going to be able to, you know, match the 109 RBI’s and 99 runs that he had last year. um the 35 bombs. I don’t know. And the power is legit. Like he like devs could hit the ball hard and far. Just tough park to hit and I don’t know if he matches uh you know almost careerhigh 35 bombs again. And uh it like I said I’m I don’t think I’m personally going to be buying into devs in 2026. Not sure what the price is going to be, but we could talk about what the price was last year. Uh Devs was coming off the board last year as the fifth se uh the fifth third baseman, which was pick 31. Let’s see where I have him ranked, guys. You know, if you’ve been listening at all this offseason, you know, I’ve been working on my uh my 2026 rankings diligently. Uh so, let’s see where I slotted him in. I know I definitely have gotten to third base. And let’s see where I slotted Jefferson. I slotted him in at seventh and I think the only thing that was holding me back from moving him to eighth uh is that I have Suarez there and he also uh moved teams and he uh went from the comfort confines of Arizona to the tougher ballpark over there in Seattle. So I think I’ll I’ll keep that there. So Devers moves down two spots for me honestly. Uh, I said Devils was coming off the board as the fifth third baseman in uh, you know, going into this past season as pick 31. Uh, the seventh third baseman this past season was Jordan Westbrook. He’s being taken at pick 82. So, I mean, if we can get Deas there, I might buy in, but I don’t think we will. I still think he’ll be taken a little bit higher, but that’s kind of where I’m ranking DE. So, I probably won’t have too many shares, uh, you know, going into the 2026 season. Uh, so with that being said, uh, you know, just be careful with a guy like, you know, Deborah. I still think he’s going to be good. He’s still young enough that he, uh, you know, can, uh, and I think will be useful obviously, you know, in fantasy formats. But if I, if I’m playing in, you know, like I said, a keep or a dynasty format where I can possibly move on from Devers, I I I’d probably try and make those moves this off season. Let’s move on to Matt Chapman. Matt Chapman, uh, you know, all reliable. 128 games this past year. 454 at bats, 76 runs, 23 doubles, two triples, 21 homers, 61 RBI’s, he stole, nine bags. He had 71 walks to 126 strikeouts, and he hit 231. That’s just about what you expect from a Matt Chapman. Some power, mediocre counting stats. The steels have been up the past two years, but it’s not something I’m relying going into relying on going into 2026. He had 231. He’s a career 240 hitter, so that’s not too far off. You know, like I said, he’s kind of like an all reliable at this point. You know what you’re getting. You’re not expecting much more. Do I think he can do it again? Yeah, I think Matt Chapman could definitely be a very similar guy next year. like a 235 batting average. 25ish home runs, maybe closer to if he plays 150 games, maybe closer to 80 and 80 on the counting stats. And if he steals you five plus bags, you’re more than happy. And that for me is the 16th third baseman. Uh, and that’s what I got for Matt Chapman. Uh, you know, you really don’t got to talk about him too much more just because, you know, you really understand what you’re going to get. It’s more of a deeper league play. I am not doing Matt the Matt Chapman thing in eight or 10s or eightman or 10man leagues. Um anything deeper than that though your twelves you start talking about him as a bench player. Uh you know your your twelves your deep twelves where you have corner infielders definitely talking about a Matt Chapman just because you just kind of set it and forget it with a guy like Chapman. Denny’s hurt you throw them in the IIL of course but otherwise you’re not really worried about the production because you know what it is. It’s a very baseline kind of player here. Uh, I think we could sneak Heliot Ramos in real quick. Ramos, I think it was like the tell uh the tale of two halves with Heliot Ramos. Started off the year on fire. Uh, was very, very good. Uh, I I have to give the quick shout out where it’s due. I don’t think I don’t think you’ll be listening to this episode, but shout out to my buddy uh JP. Put me on to Hely Ramos years ago at this point. I want to I’m talking back 2020 uh you know, type uh you know, years ago. U he was uh he was on it way before uh I was. So credit where it’s due to my buddy JP on Elliot Ramos. But the thing with Ramos is uh you know decent year. Not bad at all. 157 games played, 620 at bats, 85 runs, 24 doubles, a triple, 21 homers, 69 RBI’s, six steals, 52 walks, 158 strikeouts at 256. Um I I think Ramos could be a little bit better. He’s only 25. Uh, I could see him taking strides in, you know, the better direction with batting average. Uh, something he was, you know, a lot better in in the minors. And like I said, I’m I’m pulling up the splits here because I kind of want to talk about, like I said, it was, you know, really, uh, a tale of two halves, you know, in Ramos and, you know, one of his first full years in the bigs here. Um so yeah 95 games in the first half with a 262 batting average 320 walks. So, less games, uh, less walks, um, you know, less games, a lot less walks. Uh, and way worse batting average, 248. You know, you kind of would have expected better here, um, you know, for for Ramos to finish the year. He was just very mediocre. So, only stole one base over that time. So, you know, less than half the games and I mean, way less uh, I mean, you know, than half the games and he just couldn’t couldn’t get it done. So, um, a guy like Ramos, I I don’t think we’re going to have to pay a hefty price going into 2026. Uh, I don’t think I’ve slotted him into my outfield rankings yet. I’m still only about 45 outfielders in. Haven’t gotten Tia Ramos yet. I don’t think he’ll make my top 50. So, maybe we’re looking at a guy like Hel Ramos around outfielder 60. Uh, you know, I I like I said, I think if I had to put out a projected stat line for Ramos going into 2026, I I do think he can get that batting average up. I do think he can be a 6 265 batting average guy with 25 homers. Uh, some decent counting stats and, you know, not really expecting too much in the speed department because he’s not really like a, you know, a speedy speedy kind of guy. Uh, but with that being said, we got uh one more bat here on William Damus. Then we’re going to talk about some arms and Logan Webb and Robbie Ray. And then we’ll do a couple a couple of top prospects. Those names and more coming up next. [Music] And all right guys, I need to talk to you about my friends over at Rouette. Let’s be real. We’ve all heard the excuses, you know, and they don’t solve anything. It’s just stress. I’m tired. Or it happens to everyone sometimes. I got a little uh my computer’s acting up on me uh here. Uh you know, once again, uh if if prescribed, your treatment uh your shipment ships right to your door real easily. Uh the process is fast, simple, and private. It’s all handled by real doctors. Um you know, and it’s about confidence, connection, and getting those moments that matter back. And don’t forget to use our code locked on mob so they know that we sent you. Rouette, stop making excuses and start making moves. [Music] And all right, guys. Uh, with that being said, let’s keep it pushing. Let’s keep this episode moving. Right. Uh, let’s talk about Willie Adamus. And I’ll tell you this, me and Matt warned you, he’s coming off a career year. He goes over uh, you know, to these um, Giants from uh, you know, the Milwaukee Brewers, which are just a a way better team and a way better park to hit in. Uh, you know, Matt and I are telling you in a contract year, you don’t really want to overpay for somebody that’s coming off uh, you know, a career season in a contract year because it it’s usually they’re playing their hardest that they’ve ever played ever to get that big contract and then you might not see that kind of effort after the money comes and we saw that this year uh, with Willie Adamus, right? Adamus played 160 games. He had 591 at bats, 94 runs, 22 doubles, two triples, 30 homers, seven RBI’s, 12 steals, 80 walks, 279 strikeouts, and he hit 225. So, not a complete and total bust in the sense of he wasn’t useful for fantasy. It was just he was a bust in compared to where he was going in drafts and what he did last year. I know the runs, the home runs, RBI’s were still nice. Uh, you know, steals were okay, but you know, every the run the RBI’s were down almost 30, down a couple of home runs. Uh, down nine steals, down a lot in batting average, went from 251 to 225. So, you know, I’m kind of expecting a similar type of year next year for Adamus. You know, maybe 30-ish home runs. The counting stats really depend on how depends on how good this team is. I don’t know if Adamus, let’s check the the sprint speed. You know, we’ll talk a little bit about the underlying stuff uh here too as I pull up um Willie Adamus’ um you know, underlying stats here because if I remember correctly, he’s it’s not like he’s super fast either. It’s just that you know, the steals is kind of more of a will thing. Uh 65th percentile. So, it’s not like he’s too slow. Um, so with Adamus here and even a lot of the underlying stuff doesn’t look great for the power. So I don’t know if I’m buying in, you know, even to 30 home runs again next year. Uh, and if the batting average stays around 225, I wouldn’t be shocked. He’s a career 244 guy, but you know, in his first four years, he hit 278, 254, 259, 262. The last four years for Adamus, 238, 217, 251, 225. Uh, I would trust the trend and just, you know, predict that Adamus’ batting average stays on the lower end of the 244, probably closer to a 230 if anything. And when you’re talking about shortstops, uh, Adamus came off the board in 2025 drafts as the 10th shortstop, which, like I said, still think was too high. if you waited um two more shorts stops. Bob Bashette went uh right after that and uh Nicoer went after just a lot of good names that you could have waited on and made some more money. Uh uh Adamus honestly uh he he should be in here somewhere, but shortstop is so deep that I want to say he’s probably around the 15th or 16th shortstop for me going into 2026, which probably means I won’t have him in many leagues. Uh, so, you know, I I would say you guys do should do as I do and just leave him for somebody else because I just don’t think uh what you’re going to have to pay for him is going to be worth the kind of production he’s going to put up. Uh, but let’s keep going here. Let’s talk about Logan Webb. And this one I have to admit I was a bit wrong on. Uh, I have never really been a Logan Web guy throughout, you know, my fantasy baseball career or, you know, since Logan Webb’s been playing because I’ve been playing fantasy baseball through Logan Webb’s whole career here. Um, but just never been somebody that I’ve been super high on, but he took that next step this season that I didn’t think he could. If you look at Logan Webb’s 2024 season and prior, he was never able to get it over that caper nine. He always had the stuff to do it, don’t get me wrong. Um, I I’ve watched Logan Webb strike out uh, you know, double digit Yankees, I think multiple times at this point in his career. So, I always knew he had the stuff to do it. It’s just that I don’t think he I didn’t think he was ever going to pitch that way where he went leaned more strikeout heavy. He did it in 2025, man. He 322 RA across 34 starts, 207 uh, 207 innings pitched, 224 strikeouts, and he had a 123 whip. So, the whip being a little bit on the higher end, you know, for, you know, an ace, but honestly, I really think that Logan Webb is a top 15, uh, you know, starting pitcher, uh, pretty easily going into, you know, 2025. Like I said, the only area I think that he’s going to give you a hard time in is the whip. And he’s a career 119 whip. The whip’s been worse over the past two seasons, particularly though. Uh, but if he could even get you down to that 118 119 region, that’s going to be a lot better. Um, you know, than we’ve seen of late. I honestly would take Logan Webb over at George Kirby. Uh, you know, seeing that Kirby wasn’t, you know, as good as we he could have been this past season. So, we’ll see when uh the chips land um you know, where they may uh you know, come draft season. But right now, man, I’m pretty high on Logan Webb. he’s got the stuff to, you know, be an elite starting pitcher. He’s still young enough. I believe in the changes that he’s made um in the past couple of years. It’s just that can he take that step forward in the whip department? I think it’s possible. Um you know, and then even the underlying stuff, he he believes in what he’s doing, you know, gets a lot of ground balls, uh you know, gets a lot of chases, um you know, doesn’t really walk too many guys, gets good movement on his pitches. Uh the only thing though I will say this actually if we dive a little bit deeper here um the pitches are getting hit pretty good. I mean the sinker the pitch that he leads with 33% of the time 295 batting average against um the sweeper which is became his secondary pitch this year batters at 286 against that. It was really his change up and his foreseen which, you know, helped him make his money because even his cutter got hit really bad. So, you know, might have been a little bit more smoke and mirrors than I originally thought here with Logan Webb. Listen, as I do these breakdowns, you know, I’m diving into these stats a little bit more and, you know, kind of learning together a little bit here. Maybe I move Logan Webb closer to 20 than 15. But I still think the gains in the strikeout department are real because how good his stuff actually is. Even though the batting average against might not have been great against some of these pitches, he was still putting guys away with it at, you know, a good a good rate, getting those strikeouts. So, listen, Logan might not be your ace. You might not want to grab him one, but if you grab measure two, I’m completely fine, completely um and totally happy with that. Before we move on, we talk Robbie Ray and then we get into the prospects here with Bryce Eldridge and Oswark Gonzalez. Uh those names are coming up next. [Music] And all right guys, I want to talk to you about my friends over at FanDuel. This NFL season is here and we’re on our way guys. [Music] All right, and let’s move into the other, you know, uh, you know, other really good pitcher on this, uh, San Francisco Giants team. It’s Robbie Ray, of course. And Robbie Ray was kind of showing us in the off seasonason, man. you know, hey, listen, I’ve been working on some things. You know, I’m been uh even in his, you know, older age, you know, he’s still a student of the game, just trying to get better. Um, and, you know, understand what’s going to work for him. And he did it. And if you paid attention, I know he was somebody I was I was constantly moving up my rankings in spring training. I think Matt was as well. Um, and you drafted him. It paid off. 32 starts this year from Robbie Ray, a 365 RA, 182 innings pitched, 186 strikeouts, and a 121 whip. And honestly, you were able to get Robbie Ray as one of the last few pitchers in your rotation. So, that is really good. Made money, uh, you know, going into last season. As far as 2026 goes, I’ve ranked about uh I’ve ranked about 51 starting pitchers and I’ve got Robbie Ray in there. I don’t like it, but I have him in there at 38. I don’t I don’t like that ranking. I think it’s going to come down um a decent amount. But I’ll tell you guys this, starting pitching is going the other way. Uh, you know, I’m not going to do a whole starting pitcher thing here, but I I’ll do a small little rant about it. Um, if you’re listening, obviously you’re a fantasy baseball fan. Going into 2026, starting pitcher is not going to be as good. Uh, it’s not going to be as good as it was coming into this past season. Um, I I know we’re getting some guys back from injury like the Garrick Kohl’s and, you know, stuff like that, man. But we saw a lot of underperformance this year and, you know, I think we saw the resurgence of the bat come back. So, I think a guy like Robbie Ray is going to be way more valuable than uh we may have anticipated, you know, coming into the season. I think when uh everyone sits down, we start doing rankings, you know, we start mocking and stuff like that, we might turn around and be like, “Woo, starting pitcher is just not looking, you know, as good as we thought.” So, if you get a guy like Robbie Ray, who we know can, you know, be well over that K per nine, may not be the best at suppressing runs, but you know what, a career 394 erra guy, um, you know, is isn’t killing you. Uh, and the whip’s been better over the past four years. Um, except for, you know, that uh that’s very that 3.1 innings in 23. Uh, but if you talk about the last four years, otherwise the whip’s been getting better. Um, I I think Robbie Ray Ray, what we literally saw this past season is about right. It’s a 35 to 38 RA guy. Well over that K per nine, a 15 to 12 whip kind of dude. Uh, so listen, like I said, I think that’s gonna wind up being like SP4 caliber. Um, you know, this upcoming season, am I happy about it? Not in the slightest bit, but, you know, I mean, like I said, I I just think starting pitcher is going to be so much harder uh to draft in 2026 than we’ve had to do in the past few years. And it’s not going to be not going to be a fun task. It’s not going to be a fun task. Uh, but let’s move into the prospects portions of this podcast and let’s talk about the number 12 prospect in all of MLB according to MLB.com. It is Bryce Eldridge. And listen, we did get a small cup of coffee here from him. We got 10 games uh this past year for Eldridge in the bigs. It was a 107 batting average, no homers, 13 strikeouts, seven walks, four RBI’s, no steals. Uh but it’s all right from the big man because it’s it’s just a cup of coffee. So, we’re not going to put too much stock into it. Uh, Eldridge in 2025 in the miners climbed three levels, hit 260, had 102 games played, uh, 46 runs, 21 doubles, 25 homers, 84 RBI’s, had 42 walks to 127 strikeouts, and one steel. The two previous there’s two previous years though, Eldridge uh, had a 291 and 294 batting average. uh showed off a little bit more of you know that pop that we’ve seen with 23 home runs in 2024. So um you know El Eldridge uh specifically is you know a little bit more of a power guy at 67 uh 240 70 great power on you know the 2080 grade uh prospect scale. So really light tower power you know kind of that big Aaron Judge build 672 240 as I mentioned. I honestly think uh Bryce Brycy can be more ofh I don’t want to say Adam Dunn but I think Eldridge could be like a 35 you know almost 40 home run 270 kind of maybe like an Austin Riley almost maybe like an a think of an Austin Riley kind of bat where it’s pretty solid batting average really good power counting stats are going to be as good as this uh Giants team will be when he gets up and you’re not really expecting much speed so I think that’s the kind of profile style that we’re going to be looking at uh with a Bryce uh Elridge uh here. So, you know what, man? I’m high on him. I think if he gets the nod to start the year uh with this Giants team, which I was looking at, you know, the depth chart earlier, I’m going to pull it up again here. And he was there. He was there. I kind of wanted to just uh you know, just confirm if roster resource, you know, has him in there like I did see. Yeah. So, they have Bryce Eldridge uh expected um you know to play DH uh this upcoming season and hit in the bear with me here as I uh pull this back up uh cuz like I said my computer’s acting up on me here tonight uh you know but um expected to hit sixth which is behind Ramos Chapman Deevers so that’s a good spot to be in and um you know I believe, let me check Yahoo eligibility for, you know, Eldridge here. Um, and we’ll see what position eligibility. I know it’s at least first base if I’m not mistaken. Yeah, just first base for Bryce Eldridge on Yahoo. I don’t think I threw him in my first base rankings. I’m going to be honest with you. And that’s my fault here. Um, you know, are still early yet. But if we’re doing this on the fly, Bryce Eldridge, let’s say top 20. Uh, I put him I want to say at about 18 19 somewhere in that range and then if he’s somebody that has a big spring training and he’s popping those home runs uh listen could move up a little bit because of the prospect pedigree here for Bryce Eldridge. As I mentioned he is a uh the top 12 12th prospect in all of baseball um according to LMB.com. So you know there is a legit pedigree behind a player like this. Uh let’s move on to our last name of today’s episode. It is hosar Gonzalez. And listen, this is more of a keeper dynasty play. He’s only 18 years old. I don’t expect him to hit the bigs for a while. But he played really well in rookie ball this past season. In rookie ball, 52 games played for Gonzalez at 288 bet uh batting average. If I didn’t mention already, he’s a shortstop prospect for the Giants here that we’re talking about. So 288 batting average in rookie ball this year for Gonzalez. 52 games. He had four homers but had 33 steals, 37 walks, 36 strikeouts. So this kid Gonzalez is, you know, the real deal when you’re talking about, you know, some good speed here. Had the four home runs, you know, was still growing into that game, but had five triples, 10 doubles as well. Uh I I like what he can do. Really known for that run, but you know, at 6’1 167, if he gets a little bit bigger, puts on a little bit more muscles. Uh, you know, I think Gonzalez could be 15 home run kind of guy with like 40 50 steel upside here. Uh, I saying that uh, you know, don’t expect him for at least I want to say two more years, but I’d keep Gonzalez on my radar, you know, for my keeper dynasty formats. Make sure he is owned. Uh, especially where dynasty where you have like a minor league system and those kind of formats. Uh, because he is a very good pro prospect. Uh the Giants number two prospect overall. Let’s see. Is um is he in the top 100 though? Yeah, number 82 prospect according to MLB.com and that is Gonzalez. But guys, that is going to be all to for today.
