Patriots vs. Browns in NFL Week 8

_

The New England Patriots improved to a 5-2 record after completing a three-game road trip with their fourth straight win with the 31-13 victory over the Titans. The Patriots won the first two road games with a 23-20 win at Buffalo and a 25-19 win at New Orleans, and the victory over Tennessee marked the Patriots' third time winning all three games when playing three straight on the road in a single season. In 1961, the Patriots won their final three games on the road, and then in 1985, the Patriots won three straight postseason games played on the road en route to their first Super Bowl appearance. The Patriots have had 24 previous instances of three or more consecutive games on the road in a single season, including the postseason. The Patriots join the Rams (2018), Steelers (2020), Commanders (2020), Cowboys (2021) and Vikings (2024) as teams that have won all three games of a three-game road trip in the last ten years.

  1. I really hope we can get a Zappe chant going at the game, everytime Gabriel is on the field

  2. This is going to be a really tough one. That Browns D is no joke and their run game is pretty damn solid as well.

  3. Browns offense is dog shit, but their D keeps them in every game I’ll say 21-10 Pats with the last TD coming late to clinch it.

  4. Worried about this one. That defense + judkins is going to steal some games this year. Plus Gillette has had a nothing HFA for a while. Our defense really needs to show up here and force some turnovers from Gabriel, and the crowd needs to wake up.

  5. The most interesting thing from this game will be how Campbell handles that pass rush.

  6. This game scares me a bit!

Would love to see some sort of pass rush today, since QB is the Browns weakness

  7. Gonna learn a lot today. Obviously, this will be the best defense Maye has played this year.

But I’m also really curious to see how our defense holds up – would be great to see them dominate from the beginning, and not follow the script of allowing the Browns to score on their first couple of drives.

  8. I haven’t seen the Dexter stunt meme in a while. I guess we stamped that into the ground, but my first thought about this game was how fun it’d be if: on 2/3 of his 10 touches TreVeyon took it to the house. The whole Judson vs. Henderson thing. Thus, stunt in these hoes Tre!

  9. I expect the defense to put up a bad first half but a great second half.

Reason: The last two weeks against bad offenses.

  10. A bit nervous about the game. I still can’t believe they have a chance to go 6-2. Hope they can overcome this tough defense.
