The San Antonio Spurs Are TERRIFYING…

Victor Wabanyama and the San Antonio Spurs are 2 and 0 and Webanyama is turning into an MVP caliber player right before our very eyes. WBY has been on an absolute tear to begin this Spurs season. Not only have the Spurs won their first two games, but WBY looks like he’s going to be in the running for the best player in the NBA title with how he continues to impose his will. Webby fresh off dropping 40 points, 15 rebounds, and three blocks on 15 to 21 shooting in a win over Anthony Davis and the Mavericks on opening night. He had an impressive game, too. The Spurs defeat the Pelicans in overtime as WBY dropped 29 points, 11 rebounds, and nine blocks. Should have been 10 through 32 minutes of action. WBY did foul out with four minutes left in overtime of that contest as the Spurs managed to pull out the win against Zion and the Pelicans. when Banyama is becoming a top tier talent right before our very eyes, joining the likes of Luca Donuch, Sheay Gil Alexander, and Nicola Joic. And I mean, if WBY continues to play like this, he’s definitely going to be building an NBA MVP case for himself. A strong case at that. We’re going to talk about WB and the Spurs in this one, guys. I’ve been super impressed with what I’ve seen from this team thus far. I predicted this team to make the playoffs before the start of the season and so far so good. I know it was an ugly win against the Pelicans, but the fact that they were able to get that win shows you a lot about this team. They’re developing and they’re winning games. It’s a beautiful thing. Hit that like button, sub to the channel for more Spurs and NBA content just like this. Your support is greatly appreciated. We’re on the road to 41K. Appreciate all of you. You look at the impact that Wimi is making on both ends of the floor, it is absolutely valuable. I mean, his two-way ability is at an all-time high, and you saw this in the game against the Pelicans. The fact that he’s able to drop 29 points, gets the nine block shows you how effective he can be on both sides. And WBY, he’s now scored 69 points through two games. And the most impressive part is he’s committed zero turnovers and he’s shooting it 63.6% from the field. So his efficiency has been off the charts. And the Spurs have some wins to show for it. If you look at the average, WBY is now averaging 34 1.5 points, 13 rebounds, and six blocks through two games. Now the Spurs, they’re not going to win every game, and Webyama is not going to play like this every single time. But Wbeyama, I think, is going to be able to play well enough where he’s going to assert himself as one of the top players in this league. It hasn’t just been WBY, guys. You look at some of Wbeyama’s teammates. I love the young guns on this team. You’re already seeing it all come together. I mean, Castle had 16 points, five rebounds, six assists. Val had 23 points, five rebounds. How about Dylan Harper, 14 points. Cornett had 14 points, 12 rebounds. And Darren Fox hasn’t even played a game yet as he’s still nursing a hamstring injury. And the Spurs, they’re going to be extra cautious with his recovery. But you look at what we’re seeing from San Antonio. This is a team on the rise. This is a team that they’re extremely well coached. I mean, that clip of Mitch Johnson went viral the other day of how he wanted his team to just do the boring things and be disciplined in that game against the Mavericks, which they ended up winning comfortably. And then even in this game, they stood the course. The Pelicans, you know, they made this a game it looked like they were potentially going to win this game, but the Spurs, they found a way to win an ugly one. They found a way to win a game that there is a lot for them to clean up after this win. And I I love what I have been seeing from, you know, Castle and and Harper. Like Harper looks like the real deal. I love how they’re bringing him along slowly, even though he did play in 26 minutes in that game against the Pelicans. But of course, they’re not starting him. He’s coming from off the bench. He’s owning his role. He continues to look more confident, looks more comfortable, but really I I don’t see when slowing down, guys. I I don’t I see him continuing to put up these stellar numbers. We’re seeing a guy who’s a once in a generation talent. He’s only 21 years old and he’s already looking this good. And it’s like, you see what he’s able to do game to game here. Has that epic statline, 40 points, 15 rebounds. And then he turns over this performance where he has near 10 blocks. WBY is going to routinely put up these crazy performances and Dearan Fox isn’t even in the equation yet. So, you can see why I’m high on the Spurs and it stems from me being really high on WBY because when you have a talent like this, he not only does crazy things out there himself, but he elevates everybody around him and you’re seeing it. So, Web Benyama, his off season has paid huge dividends. Spending it with the Monks, spending it with Hakee Malaj, spending it with Kevin Garnett and you’re seeing a vicious almost bully type from WBY. You’re seeing him be ultra aggressive and I’m loving what we’re seeing from the Spurs team. So, the Spurs, they get it done. Despite shooting just 30% from three, they were able to win this game despite their turnovers being up. Again, lot to correct when you look at some of these things. Didn’t shoot the ball particularly well, but they were still able to go to New Orleans and get the win. And that is the impressive part about all this is that the Spurs, they’re 2-0 with two road wins. They haven’t even played in their home opener yet, which will be against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday before they take on the Raptors and then they have the Heat and the Sun. So, a couple of winnable games right there before they have a showdown against the Lakers on November 5th. So, the Spurs, I mean, they look good so far. You got to be impressed. You got to be optimistic if you’re a Spurs fan. This is a team that is pegged by many to be the team on the rise. A team to take that giant leap. And I’m on that thought process. I’m on that train of taking this team to take that leap. And how big is that leap going to be? That remains to be seen. Is it going to be an OKC type of leap this season? I think it’s going to be a leap good enough to have this team end their six-year playoff drought. So, I really like what I’m seeing from this team and the fact that WBY is fully healthy. He’s recovered from that blood clot issue, which is great to see. This is a guy who should have been the runaway winner for defensive player of the year. Now, he looks like a guy who can win not only the defensive player of the year this season, but he even’s got a he’s even got a shot for the MVP. And that’s scary cuz we didn’t think that was going to happen this soon that Wimby was not only going to be in the running for MVP, but have a shot at the best player in the world title. That’s all in play with how WBY has jumped onto the scene here. So, let me know your thoughts, guys, when it comes to WMY and the Spurs.
