It’d be nice but this year’s 49ers are a throwback to the 1990s 49ers .. beat up on a weak schedule and / or even when teams have a shot to beat them the opponent go into brainlock and hands them the win. Egregious referee help is potentially on the table, but may not be as big of a factor as it was then.
Followed by, get lots of undeserved hype and then crushed in January by a real team
